    I paid in advance but left early. It's been 3 weeks; they have not sent my money back to me even though they said it was *********** one can give me an answer.They raised the rent a few times; they said they upgraded, but all they did was paint the doors, and they are infested with rats. It was really bad; a lot of my stuff was ruined from rat urine and ***

    Storage king still owes me money for charging me for a unit I never had! My experience with this business has been awful to say the least. From the beginning I was given a gate code through email that did not work when I showed up to drop things off for the first time. There was always sketchy looking people hanging out at the yard and some even walking around and acting suspicious. The locking mechanism on my unit was cut and the guard plate was missing and I was told that would be fixed within the first few days of my lease by *****, one of the managers. Months later and it was never fixed- leaving my unit at risk. I was charged for another storage unit that was not mine and I never signed a lease for! When I signed a lease agreement I was emailed a few documents with the info. Later that I noticed I was emailed the same document twice, but one had a storage unit number that was NOT mine. I made the managers ***** and *** aware of this problem multiple times in person and through email and their response was corporate has to fix it and refund request sent. I was never followed up with and repeatedly asked when I would be refunded and now they are just ignoring me. That was back in July. It has been months at this point. I have also been charged late fees as a result of this. If you are thinking about renting space here- DONT. Yes it is cheaper than other businesses around but what you save in money you will pay for in time and inconvenience when you have problems with them. Storage king- DO BETTER! Storage king you owe me for 1. The month of rent for the unit I never even leased 2. The late fees as a result of that situation 3. The additional month as a result of me having to pay late fees for a situation I put plenty of effort to fix ahead of time while you did nothing.
