    Licensed daycare (EIN-39-2064617). While stating that they are a preschool for kids up to 5 years old led by an educated teacher we found that tolerance for children over the age of 3 seemed lacking and the owner seemed to always find some reason, for the boys especially, to require a move out of this daycare. A gradual change in attitude towards and interaction with boys as they aged towards 4 was witnessed. In our case the owner insisted that alternative placement be found due to "behaviors" that quite frankly seemed to be isolated instances precipitated in response to the environment itself. When finding a new daycare didn't happen quickly enough for her (carefully researching what was best) we discovered that she had moved to "sequester" him from the others in ways that seemed extreme and punitive rather that instructional/proactive. Our boy has been much happier since moving out of this daycare with no behaviors witnessed by us, or reported by others at all. We have also subsequently heard similar stories from other parents. While the rest of the staff seems to really care about the children we can not in good conscience recommend that any child start here with the intention of remaining in a consistent location until kindergarten.
