    OUTBOARD MOTOR SHOP is the actual name the fraudulent business is using online. There is a valid boat company by that name located at **************************************************************************. I called them and asked if they were aware of an online company using their physical address as theirs. They replied they knew of a fraudulent company using their name but not their address. A week later, the fraudulent company changed their online address to *******************************************************************. I was looking for a small outboard motor, specifically a 6hp Tohatsu MFS6DWDL. The online company website looked official. I contacted them via their website chat, their listed phone numbers and even went on ****** maps to look at what was located at that physical address which showed Outboard Motor Shop. Everything looked legitimate. I read the reviews and communicated with a *************************. I was to wire them $1550.00, which is a reasonable and competitive price for a 2022 Tohatsu 6hp motor. Fortunately, my bank would only wire $1000.00 at a time utilizing Zelle. I started to wonder about the company when the representative started calling me at all hours trying to collect the outstanding balance. They sent me a receipt showing they had received my $1000.00. I wired the money on November 14th, 2023. They sent me a receipt reflecting what I was purchasing, how much I had paid and what was the remaining balance. I started feeling uneasy and started researching the company and the website. This is when I started really feeling uncomfortable. On 11/15, I contacted ******** and talked to him about a refund. He said not to worry, the refund process was 100% guaranteed but it would take 30 days. Periodically, I have attempted to establish communication with this person, but all in vain. The money sent through ***** went to a *************************. The email used for the Zelle account is *******************. I am at a loss and would like to my refund. Please help.
