    MISLEADING! I WAS a fan of ***. Used some of there plugins before and thought they were okay at best. Then while looking through my email, I came across an advertisement to promote there Summer sale of 10 plugins for $99. But, In the Ad, it clearly says "10 plugins for $9 Each". I was super excited but also curious. So I clicked on the link and what do you know, It was $99 instead of $9. I was let down. Not only did they lie about the price but also did it twice. They sent the same email again! I looked more into this UAD spam emails and it happens all the time. Not is being done about this. So hopefully some one reads my note and talks to them. But I doubt it. Anyways, See ya.

    I bought an Apollo x8 Heritage Edition Audio Interface, and the package clearly states "Includes 'Realtime Analog Classics Plus' UAD plug-in bundle, featuring UA 610-B Tube Preamp, Legacy Pultec EQ, LA-2A and 1176LN compressors, ******** Plexi Classic, Ampeg SVT-VR Classic, and more." I already have another heritage edition apollo x6 so all the included plugins are duplicates, i.e. I should have 2 copies of each plug-in. Instead of giving duplicate Heritage Edition Plug-ins they let me select 10 other plugins instead - which I'm ok with. That makes sense. However, customer support will not honor what their packaging clearly states and give me the second set of Realtime Analog Classics Plus even though it comes with the purchase. No where on the package or advertising does it say "Universal Audio doesn't give duplicate plugins, you can't own 2 of the same plug-in, or that the Realtime Analog Classics Plus bundle is only included IF you don't already have them. That's a lie by omission. It doesn't matter how many Apollo's I buy - the package clearly states I get those products in addition to the interface. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. Here is a hyperlink on their website: **************************************************************************************** Note that no where on the page for that interface does it say they won't honor the plugins listed for ANY reason. In fact, they double down and say you get the Realtime Analog Classics Plus in a footnote at the bottom of the page. They're withholding part of my purchase for no clearly articulated reason. It's time to stop doing shady things in the music industry

    I cannot utilize buying plugins for my UAD Apollo because UAD "flagged" my account for ":excessive changes to my account". However, nothing has ever been changed in my account. Rather than fix and resolve this problem, UAD refuses to resolve the issue. This is equivalent to buying an Apple so you can run their exclusive software, only to buy the machine and not be able to use the hardware. Furthermore, the customer service has been argumentative and condescending and not willing to fix an easy to fix issue.

    This company totally and completely neglects its customers. I advise my music making colleagues to avoid interfacing with Universal Audio.
