    Complaint: 22977415

I am rejecting this response because:  First of all, my credit was frozen with all three bureaus and not accessible.  So, whatever credit report information KPM had was false because they could not even access my credit report.  I explained that to them and showed proof it was frozen, but ***** from KPM insisted that their credit report information was correct.  My business partner ******* whom I applied with was denied as well based on credit report information that was not correct.  KPM sent a document they printed out claiming to be from Transunion.  We know it was not from ********** because we spoke directly with a ********** representative and there was no record of anyone pulling SabreeN's or my credit {which was frozen} within the last 90 days.  There was also no record of a soft pull within the last 10 days.  KPM's credit information they sent had wrong credit report numbers, wrong addresses, and further incorrect information within the documents.  ***** from KPM claimed ******* did not have a credit score above 700 and ******* did have a credit score over 700.  We tried to communicate this to ***** and show proof of documentation and she did not apply the correct information we shared.  This leads us to believe that there is obviously a fake database that KPM is using.  Maybe it is through their online application program they use called Rent Vine.  Since applying we have been receiving tons of scam calls.  I also received a scam call immediately after getting off the phone with ***** from someone with the same area code as KPM.  From our experience we feel this whole thing with KPM is not only based on being discriminatory, but also a scam. Sending our money back does not resolve the facts of the matter.

Thank you so much for addressing my concerns with this matter.

    Many Blessings...

    ****** *******

gation, the 25 letters written to all the companies associated with my credit, investigation filing numbers, screen shots of the freeze on my credit that she should not have even had access to, receipts of payments of good standing with companies she claimed I had negative payments with, screen shots of payments to our current landlord she claimed we did not make, and our credit reports. After all we shared we see that her decision to deny us housing that we actually over qualified for was not based on facts. We feel we have been discriminated against because of the color of our skin. There is no reason we should have been denied.

The compliant is against the wrong company and should be removed from KPM Management's file. There is a good chance this complaint should be lodged against Karya Property Management. Please remove this from our profile. We do not do any business in ***********

    Thank you,

On February 15, 2025 ******* ****** and ****** ******* applied for an available rental via an online application. We processed their rental applications, which included obtaining a credit report from **********. The applications were processed using the same application requirements that we use for all rental applications. These application requirements were listed on the advertisement for the house for rent on ********** and were also emailed to the applicants prior to the in person showing.

I do not believe this comment, which may be viewed publicly,is the appropriate place to discuss specific details of a rental application or credit report that may include personal information. I can assure you the decision was based solely on the application requirements.

We have refunded the application fees, $100.00 total. See attached refund receipt.

The desired settlement included a correction to a credit report, this is not something we are able to do. That request would need to be made with the credit bureaus directly.

I have reached out to Rentvine (this is the property management software we use to run credit reports related to our application process) regarding the applicant's concerns and received the following response to share, please see below:

Thank you for reaching out to us with your applicants concern.

With a credit freeze, for the purpose of employment or tenancy, a credit report can be pulled. Please see Freeze FAQs and refer to Can someone access my report?  **************************************************************************************************************************

You are currently using Resident 4.0 with Rentvines platform. Resident 4.0 is a credit scoring model developed by **********, and the generated credit report is identical to the consumer credit report from ***********

If applicants have any questions or concerns, please direct them to TransUnion at ************.
