    On 11-07-2023, I l went for a run and somehow dropped my key to my home outside around 6:30 pm. After several hours of searching for the key, I decided to contact a Locksmith to open the door. I did ****** search on estimated cost of this service and stated about $75 to $100 was about the typical range of cost to expect. I also contacted State Farm who stated no need to file claim for home due to the cost of the service should not exceed but a small fee and advised on ****** search for a locksmith. The first company I contacted stated about $150. Informed that company would do more research to find other pricing and options. Saw website that indicated Cheap $29 service call 24/7 mobile service locksmith near me." Also, promises to be the best price guaranteed. Called ************ at 11:52pm on 11/07/2023. Asked if they could provide estimate of cost to unlock home door.********** stated the technician would be the one that would provide the estimated cost. The technician called and stated no estimate until he sees the lock and difficulty. He stated he would be there in 25 minutes. Upon arrival, showed technician the front door and the backdoor. He decided to try the back door lock.He stated the method options to unlock the door. One involving removing the doorknob with drill and one to pop the lock. Depending on the complexity quote $250 for one thing and $300 for the other thing. Informed him that price was a lot higher than what I was anticipating paying. He stated he would see once he finishes but mentioned due to being the time of morning and distance he traveled. I was not quite clear on what the differences were. Informed him to try to pop the lock, and if unable, use the more invasive technique. He completed unlocking the door in less than 20 seconds. He gets his cell phone and informs me to tap for the credit card. The price was not visible until after it went to the sign section which stated $469. Asked him how did this service add up to $469. Asked if he could get the supervisor on the phone for them to provide the cost of what this service should be. He stated no one was available this time of the morning. I stated I am questioning the legitimacy of this service and transaction. He stated he was offended when I started recording with phone and stated he did not want me to photograph him but allowed me to take a picture of his identification. He stated he would provide a receipt once I sign, but was not going to do anything until i signed the credit card transaction. Informed I needed an itemized receipt with some type of information on it because I believe he is being deceptive. He stated to call the customer service during business hours at ************. I called **************** at ************ later in the day on 11/08/2023. Spoke to a rep who stated she would have supervisor contact me. Was contacted by the supervisor but stated she was not able to reach the technician. She stated they would follow-up with me about the complaint. Spoke to rep ****** from customer service on 11/12/2023 from number ************. Explained the encounter with the locksmith. Asked her about their dispatching process. Explained the price of the service did not match what I was charged. Informed her of false claims on the website on pricing, services, and what customers should expect that did not match the service received. She stated she would need to speak to the technician. She stated the technician agrees to remove $50 from the cost of $469, then she stated the technician stated he would remove $75 off of the $469. ****** stated she would email an itemized receipt of the charges from our conversation of the technician removal of the $75. Received her receipt via email. Explained that I did not accept this resolution because I did not agree with the charges. Explained the false information on the website and lack of resolution should not happen to anyone else.

    Website shows twenty nine dollar locksmith advised that was just for them to come here. Total charge was $114 ($29 service and $85 locksmith charge)
