  We hired Leading Tax Group (LTG) to help resolve our back taxes with the *** and ****************************** (***). They promised to communicate with both agencies on our behalf and negotiate a resolution. We paid *** nearly $100,000 over the course of our ************* the time, I was unemployed, and in order to afford their services, we were forced to sell stockan action that triggered additional tax liability. *** used fear tactics, warning us that the *** and *** would seize our home if we did not act immediately by hiring them.Despite their assurances, *** never contacted the *** or ***, which we confirmed independently. The only service they provided was filing our 2023 tax return, and the individual who prepared it was not a licensed ***. They also advised us to stop making payments to both tax agencies, further complicating our tax situation.Throughout our engagement, we experienced rude and dismissive communication when we sought updates or explanations. Upon terminating our agreement due to non-performance, we requested a refund. *** refused, offering only a $12,000 settlement out of nearly $100,000 paid.We feel deceived, financially exploited, and harmed by their conduct. *** failed to deliver the services they promised and used high-pressure and misleading tactics. We are seeking a full or substantial refund for services that were not performed.

  This review is either for a competitor or someone just trying to damage the reputation of LTG.
  First, at Leading Tax Group we are one of the only firms in the country that have ZERO commissioned (sales reps) ********* or contractors.  We NEVER use fear based pressure tactics (as this fake review claims) and we invite anyone reading this with a tax problem to contact us to see firsthand.  We also contact the *** and/or State taxing authorities (Which ever case(s) *** is retained for) the same day we are retained.  
  
  Leading Tax Group notates every call to and from the *** & State Taxing authorities, every meeting with the *** and Taxing authorities.  We contact the taxing authorities regularly and through out the case and update our clients every 7-14 days with a full case update.  We also have not just Tax Attorneys but CPA's (unlike the reviewer claims), Enrolled agents, paralegals and support staff.  
  
  Leading Tax Group has been helping clients for close to 20 years.  We have been featured by yahoo news " as the top Tax Firm in the Nation".  We have been featured on many media outlets simply because of our Firms track record and reputation.  We are known for helping businesses and individuals with very complex tax problems.  We are also known for how caring and compassionate we are as a team.  We invite you to call us and see for yourself.   The companys response is simply untrue. I am not a competitor, nor am I attempting to damage their reputation. I am a former customer with a legitimate concern, and the company is fully aware of this. In fact, they have previously contacted me directly to ask what it would take to resolve the issue.

  All clients sign an arbitration clause.  The facts they are sharing are all FAKE!  Furthermore, they still owe LTG money (from unpaid invoices per signed agreement).They just want to write false information to try and blackmail us for money.  This will not happen.  This person can file for arbitration and a neutral arbitrator can review all FACTS and make a determination.  We are also looking into possible legal action for making false and misleading statements about LTG.

  The companys response is both inaccurate and defamatory. I am not a competitor, nor am I attempting to blackmail anyone. I am a former client raising a legitimate concern about my experience with ***. The company knows this to be truethey contacted me directly in the past to discuss potential resolutions.
  
  
  Their claim that I owe them money is baseless and an apparent attempt to discredit my complaint. If they truly believe their position is valid, then they should welcome scrutiny rather than respond with false accusations and threats of legal action.
  
  
  I have no interest in arbitration designed to insulate LTG from public accountability. My goal is to share my experience so that others can make informed decisions.
