i am making a complaint but i will definitely be seeking legal actions. this shop is horrible and a bunch of liars and shysters. i had them replace my ******* i paid for it and they ordered it and had it shipped. I started having engine problems and i took it to the *** dealer to have it diagnosed and maybe have it repaired for free. the dealer informed me that econo auto center replaced my engine with a ******* engine instead of a kia ******* Due to that they cannot replace it due to the engine rod bearing failure that is still under warranty. i have several documents to confirm all this and i am definitely seeking legal action and they will pay for all of the money they have cost me.

    hello,

his main issue is with the insurance company, nothing with us
i dont know he is naming us. we did everything what insurance paid for it and what he paid for

I am rejecting this response because:

10/12/2022 ****** ***** took our Yukon GMCXL to Econo auto service for a tuneup. One week later 10/19/22 the manager called for us to pick up the Yukon. When we did my wife got into the Yukon, started it up, and it turned off. I told the manager and the manager said I needed a battery and alternator and Econo replaced the alternator. I replaced the battery on 07/20/22. We left and went to Ralleys auto to have the battery checked and it was good, We left Rallleys and on the way back to Econo the Yukon is cutting off and shaking every step of the way. We tell the manager the Yukon keeps cutting off and shaking. The Yukon never acted like that before we took it in. He told us to leave it there on 10/19/22. 3 days later my husband called Econo what is going on with the Yukon. The manager told me that I have to pay an additional $1,000 to fix the Yukon. We are requesting a refund because Econo didn't fix it properly the first time but wants another $1,000 to fix their own error and will not fix it until they receive another $1,000. As of 10/24/22, the Yukon is still sitting at the Econo shop. I am 78 years old and on a fixed income and do believe I am getting taken advantage of.

When Mr. ***** brought his vehicle in he requested a tune up, but had a lot of other problems. After we completed the requested tune up, we found that the truck would shut off because the battery voltage would drop, if we left his battery connected to a battery charger when the car was running, it would not shut off. We demonstrated this in front of Mr. *****.

After replacing the alternator, the truck would stay running but ran poorly, not as a result of the tune up that was done on the car, instead we found several vacuum leaks and also low fuel pressure. We replaced the fuel pressure regulator and throttle body (at no cost to Mr. *****) as we found these to be parts that had failed, while the truck ran better than before it still was not perfect. I told Mr. ***** that the same way we found a vacuum leak at the throttle body, there may be more vacuum leaks. It was explained that his truck is almost 20 years old and has over 200,000 miles on it and seals may start to fail. We asked to remove the intake manifold and reseal everything underneath it and to inspect and replace fuel injectors as necessary. As Mr. ***** has been a long time customer we offered to do the work for free but would charge him for parts, which could run over $1000 if we needed to replace all the fuel injectors. He refused service at this time.

Also he has since picked up his vehicle

I am rejecting this response because:

They are telling several lies. No one offered to fix it for free. The manager said that it would be $1000 more to fix it correctly, We never moved the truck. It sat there Oct 12th to November 2nd behind the shop and the truck was not inside the shop. We are the type of people who take care of our vehicles. The truck is at another shop and the owner of the shop said that "all the wiring was defected" that Econo put in the truck. They need to refund the $1000 because Econo put defective parts on the truck. In my opinion, I believe they are taking advantage of a senior citizen. It was not shaking, cutting off, or stopping when we took it to them.

I paid $1800 to ******* for them to replace my engine on my vehicle on January 29, 2021 because my vehicle had one code (cylinder misfire). They went ahead and switched my engine instead of fixing my vehicle they left it with more codes and overheating and shutting off and not wanting to turn on they tried to fix it a couple of times because they did this to my vehicle this went on for months but **** told me he wasn't able to fix the damages they did as he didn't know what was wrong with my vehicle after they switched the engine. He kept telling me he was going to give me another vehicle that works in exchange for him messing up my vehicle I spoke to M******* and asked for my money back he said that was a lot of money and his son was in New York but that was what I paid for them to fix my vehicle. I spoke to his **** and he keeps telling me he is going to give me a vehicle. I am tired of dealing with this as that was my transportation and they messed up my vehicle all they kept doing was telling me they were fixing a vehicle for me. All I want is my $1800. I have been keeping in contact with them every single month and **** keeps on telling me he is getting a vehicle ready for me I waited so long all I want is my $1800 that I paid and they didn't fix my vehicle. I don't want another vehicle in return I am tired of waiting all I want is my $1800.

I spoke to ******** last week, after the complications with her vehicle we had spoken about giving her a car, unfortunately the party that we purchased the vehicle from passed away before they could give us the title to the vehicle and it took several months to get the paperwork in order. Once we received the paperwork only 2 weeks ago we drove the vehicle to make sure there no problems with the vehicle, but found the motor was not up to par, I know that this process has been very long and tedious process, but I ask ******** to give me until the end of this month to get deliver this car to her, if it is not ready for her within this time, I will refund her $1800
