On 10/5/21, I hired ****** *********************************** (AKA *****), owner of Phat Daddy Customs LLC, to do work on my **** Chevrolet Camaro and later paid him $5,800 cash as partial payment for the restoration. I dropped the car off at Phat Daddy along with about $15,000 worth of parts. ***** assured me my car was in good hands and that it should be completed in about 8 weeks. I was not able to contact ***** for several months. From time to time he would send a text and when I asked him for pictures he agreed to send them but never did. He claimed a lot of work had been done on the car but missed several completion dates. The struggle of not being able to contact ***** continued. On 6/5/23, due to ***** missing multiple completion dates and his inability to communicate with me, I terminated services with Phat Daddy Customs and made arrangements for the car to be sent to a different shop to be completed. ***** said he understood but did nothing to transport the vehicle. On 7/18/23 I texted ***** that if he did not give my car, and all parts, to the other shop by 7/21/23 that I would take legal action. ***** transported the car the next day but failed to take all the parts. The new shop sent me pictures of my Camaro and said they received the car, however, the labor ***** claimed to have done was not performed on the vehicle. The new shop also told me that ***** told them that he (*****) planned to deliver the parts the next day on 7/20/23. On 7/21/23 the new shop advised me ***** did not deliver the parts to their shop. I attempted to contact ***** multiple times with no response. The new shop is also unable to contact *****. ***** still has in his possession about $15,000 worth of my car parts. In a year and a half ***** was only able to spray my car with primer which, in another mechanic's estimate, needs to be redone and was only worth about $200 in labor. In addition, ***** still owes me $5,800 in labor fees he failed to perform.

Phat Daddy Customs received a 1964 Chevy impala along with $20,000 in parts and $3300 in cash from me with an agreement to restore the car. Time line was about 3 months for completion. Originally started in 2021. Shop has cut off all contact and I have not been able to reach them or find them open during normal business hours to retrieve my property. It has been over 6 months from last contact with them.

I took my 1958 Chevy brookwood to Phat daddy customs for an engine, rear differential and tuner installation. In addition Phat daddy’s was paid for the installation of a new power steering system and new fuel tank. Phat daddy’s was in position of my 1958 Chevy on June 25, 2022, to this day little to no work has been completed on my vehicle. I have lost all contact with the shop and they appear never to be open for business. Phat daddy was paid 3800 dollars and they are also have a pair of rims and tires which were paid for by myself and delivered to their shop for installation.
