    An additional $4.00 was tooken off of my card, after using my card for the bus fare on 9/12/2024. Could the $4.00 be refunded?

    Omni trans has a deal with Ontario high school that students get rides for free as long as you have the card but didn’t allow it because the school didn’t give me a picture for my id cause i didn't go to school that day and now they didn’t allow me on the bus even tho i had a school issued digital id that had the marking that allowed me to go in the bus for free and i was refused and had to pay.

    Dear Mr. *******

    Thank you for submitting your concerns regarding free fares for school program offered by Omnitrans for students K-12.  As noted in your complaint, an identification is required from students for riding for free on our Omnitrans buses.  As I understand you were denied boarding when displaying a digital ID card that was issued by the school.  We can look into and address your concerns.  In order to conduct an investigation, please provide the date/time/location/route/direction of travel for this incident.  With this information we can open an investigation and address the issues you've reported.  Please know that our coach operators have received training and internal communications that outline requirements for allowing free transportation for students in our region, with this information we can identify and proceed with corrective action and retraining with our staff involved.  We look forward to this information and appreciate the time you took to communicate your concerns to us.
