This shop did an engine rebuild for my 2013 Hyundai Sonata. The stated they use all OEM parts. My mechanic removed the motor and GTR Engine Lab picked up the motor, rebuilt it after several months and returned the motor. Once my mechanic reinstalled the motor and test drove the car, he figured out the oil pump was defective. I have been trying to reach the company about warranty repair/replace or refund and they will not return calls or text messages. I want a refund for the total cost to replace the defective oil pump that sits in the engine block

March 2022, I contact GT ENGINE LAB. about rebuilding my engine for my Infiniti M45 they say it cost $3500. O I said OK and did a partial payment of $1700. The next day they came FAST and tow my car to San Bernardino (738 S. Water St) where the shop was located at.
I asked how long he told me 3-4 MONTHS. The 4 month I called and was told the Mechanic was sick in the hospital for a month. The following month I called and was told he just took it out of the car, the following month I was calling religiously telling him I REALLY NEED MY CAR. I was told waiting on a part to come in constantly. I was ALWAYS CALLING CONSTANTLY. SOMETHING DIFFERENT. They would text me back once a month and I was calling and texting two times a week and going to the shop whenever I was in the area. I was CONSTANTLY GIVEN THE RUN AROUND FOR A WHOLE YEAR AND TWO MONTHS. APRIL 2023, I WAS TOLD HE WILL BE
DONE ALL HE HAVE TO DO IS ATTACH
THE ENGINE AND FIRE IT UP FOLLOWING SATURDAY 2nd WEEK OF THE MONTH APRIL I TEXT/ CALLED AND NOTHING. On the 3rd of MAY 2023 I was told they going to tow it to my house. I said you told me it was going to be DONE SATURDAY THE LAST WEEK OF APRIL. YOU TOLD ME ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS LOWER IT AND FIRE IT UP. I TOLD HIM I PAID IN ADVANCE THINKING YOU WASN'T GOING TO PULL A SCAM AND YOU DID. THEY STOP ANSWERING MY CALLS AND TEXTED ME IT NEEDED A HARNESS, FLY WHEEL, WATER HOSE.
      * THEY WAS STALLING ME FOR 1 YEAR AND 2 MONTHS TO SCAM ME OUT OF MY MONEY WHEN I TOLD THEM CONSTANTLY I REALLY NEED MY CAR.

On February 11, 2022, I hired GT Auto Engines to rebuild my motor. Once completed, I noticed that the engine light came on and the motor was making noise. I then noticed it had been burning up all the oil. It had only been a week after the work was completed. I contacted them to have it checked out. They said it would be fixed and out in one week. I showed up on the day and time they told me to be there and they never showed up. I had to go back the next day. They kept my car for over a month and all they did was tighten the bolts on the engine head. Two months later (end of August), I contacted them to tell them the car was still burning oil at the same rate or worse (one quart minimum each tank of gas). They didn’t take my car back until October 19th and they promised one week turn around. They would not work on the car until November 14th. Again, they told me that all they did was tighten up the head and if that didn’t work, they would have to rebuild it again. After one week, the car burned more than a quart of oil again. I have been asking them to rebuild the motor ever since and they have not given me a date to bring the car in. Today is February 21, 2023. Now the motor is making noise and all power is gone. I paid $3171.20 for the services.

I purchased an engine for installation at another repair shop. After finally receiving the engine after 6 weeks of waiting, it was missing many main components, and the gasket was blown. My car has been out of commission for 4 months now still trying to figure out all that was wrong with the engine purchased through this company. They do not answer and I am currently fighting with the company that financed the engine for me to get a refund or at least a partial refund because at this point it is ridiculous and I am struggling without a car and I have poured thousands of dollars into this repair only to get a crappy engine.

This business took months on fixing my vehicle. Didn’t finish it all the way. They took my payment before giving me my car back and didn’t provide proof of service. No documentation that this vehicle was fixed and do not answer phone calls or text messages and no one is at the office.

I went to this company for an engine rebuild because my motor needed a new crankshaft. The only problem it had was it would make a clicking noise when it drove but it was still drivable. We got 3 quotes all being told it was the crankshaft. We agreed on an engine rebuild because the crankshaft is deep in the motor. We were quoted 1700$ on offer up and were never told until after we signed the paper that it would be an extra 1000$ for an install. The total was 2860$. I dropped my car off May 27th, 2022. We never received any updates or any calls. We had to always call them. We went to pick the car up once it was done on June 14th, 2022 and on the drive home noticed, that when it would get below 30 mph or at stoplights, it would just stall. We never had a stalling issue before. Ever! The car drove fine. We called right away when we got home and told them this. We also noticed the engine cover to my engine was missing and told them about that too. They said look in the truck it should be there. It wasn't. We were told we would get this back but never did. So, we kept getting the run but until about week later they said bring the car back. They knew the car wasn't stalling before and it was under their warranty for a year. The car also made a screeching sound after it would be sitting all night and then tried to start the car. We told them this too. We took the car back in and by this time I am hesitant but it was obviously something they did to it, so it needed to be fixed by them. We took it back on June 20th. we get a call from them about 3 days later asking permission if they can take it to the dealership for a diagnostic and the cost would be on them. I agreed. My car was left at the dealership for over 2 weeks. I kept calling them with no update or answer. On July 5th, I called and was told by them that the dealership is still working on it, they lost the service ticket. Which was a lie. PLEASE SEE ATTACHED PAPER FOR REST OF COMPLAINT.
