    Purchased an 8x24 shade cloth from Amazon via their vendor Windscreen4less. Date of purchase was May 2, 2023, order number 112-3779150-9655444 in the amount of $109.99, that came with a 3 year warranty. I received it and installed it on my patio. In February 2024 the shade cloth was rotted and tearing, turning into powder. February I called the phone number that was on Amazons sight for them, I left a message as there was no person that would answer the phone, leaving my name, the order number and the reason for the call (defective). Waited about a week, no call back, I called them again and left the same information. Waited another week and no call back. I repeated this about 6 times, along with emailing in between messages left to see if they would respond. Finally on June 27, 2024 they responded to an email wanting info on what might have happened. Wanted to know what my address and phone number was, I replied back immediately and gave them my address and phone number and I let them know there was no high winds nor gusting of winds, just normal use. Now I have been ghosted, emailing with no responses, leaving messages, no call backs. This product is rotten, only lasted 11 months, cant seem to get Windscreen4less to get back to me to ship me a replacement. They have my name, phone number and address and still have yet to sent the replacement.

    I purchased two separate orders through Amazon when purchasing it states free returns. Amazon states its a thrid party seller and I have to pay for return shipping so I did this has been going on since July order number ORDER # ***-3072246-8745047 and ORDER # ***-7726560-8942646 I have contacted Windscreen my self they said I had to pay for return shipping so I did and still no refund

    Dear Better Business Bureau ,
    This is Windscreen4less, My name is *******. Based on the complaint, we see that the customer mentioned about the ***** # ******************* and ***** # ***-7726560-8942646,
    Customer indicated he returned the items, and did not get the refund. Please check the attached documents, the documents are screenshot from our amazon system, showing we are asking the customer if we send him the wrong size, if so, please provide us with the measurement photo so that we know we send the wrong item for him, then we will take full responsibility and issue the customer with a return label. But as you can see, the customer did not reply. And based the conversation between us and amazon customer service, we were informed by amazon that this case is closed. So we do not know the customer has returned the item to us,  and the customer also did not contact us about the situation, or provide us with the return tracking number. We do have a strict amazon return policy to follow, within 30 days after the item got delivered, if the item is damaged, defective, or wrong in measurement, we will take the responsibility to help the customer with returning this item by issue them a return label, but for ***** # ***-3072246-8745047 and ***** # ***-7726560-8942646, we failed to contact the customer and we also did not hear from the customer, and we do not see any return requests under ***** # ***-3072246-8745047 and ***** # ***-7726560-8942646 as well, then we got informed by amazon the case is closed. Since we are not able to contact the customer, and the customer indicated the items are being returned already, we would need a return tracking number to confirm the delivery, and then we will release the refund.

     I am rejecting this response because:

    I have made several attempts to contact Amazon. Ive talked to supervisors all stating that **************** was supposed to give me my money back when  they received the items I uploaded the receipt showing I paid to send the screens back, and the tracking number I was told by **************** that I had to send the screens back and pay for shipping if so, they would refund my money. I did this I want my money back. I was also told to save on shipping to put both in the same box. I did this . The return policy on Amazon says free returns.

    I have not received an order placed on January 26th, nor can I get in contact w**h anyone. I have supplied my order information below. ** does appear that my address may have been incorrect, however, I have not been able to get in contact w**h anyone. The funds for the transaction were w**hdrawn form my account on January 30th.
