      I purchased a security system from North Cal Security, aka ********************************** On May 15, 2023, he quoted me an amount of $1400.90. I called him and he agreed that he would reduce the price to ******* to install 2 cameras. He took a deposit of ****** and charged it on my **** card. They came in and installed 2 cameras on May 19, 2023. ****** asked if he could bill me the balance on my **** card. I said okay. He billed me an additional *******. Now, the amount billed is actually more the what he quoted me to begin with by *****. I called him, and he said he would have his AP **** make the adjustment of ****** on my **** card. On May 22, 2023, he confirmed via email we agreed on the amount of *******. He said he would reverse the overcharge amount to my ****. On June 3, 2023 the charge hadn't been credited to my account. He said his son's mother died and they were preoccupied but will take care of it. June 19, said the credit was sent to my ****. July 17, 2023, I called ****** and asked that he send me a check in the amount of ******. He said okay. On July 27th, I emailed him informing him that it's been 10 days and I have still not received a check. On July 27th, he said that I should receive the check shortly and that he uses an outside ***************************** it's a process that doesn't happen overnight. It's on the way." So, from May 19th to August 3rd, there's been no refund for an overpayment on an amount that we agreed on.
