    I've owned ******* ******** Hobart, Titanium, Yeswelder, and a few random cheap Chinese branded welders. Any time I've needed a question answered through the various customer service channels, I have always had a great experience- Even with the cheapo off-branded welders.Everlast came with good recommendations, and I really wanted to try them out. The specs look great, the machines have really great features, but the customer service is downright awful. If you need to reach someone through email, you'll never get a response. I have tried many times. Calling is a frustrating experience as well- Occasionally I'll get redirected, put on hold, and the call eventually drops. I had a question about running an extension cord with one of their welders, and finally got a hold of a technician who talked to me with a very condescending tone. At the end of the conversation, my questions weren't even answered. Their level of customer care is by far the worst I have ever dealt with, and for that I cannot recommend them or feel confident purchasing their products.

    Extremely poor quality accessories. I bought a lightning MTS275 and upgraded to the Nova Tig package. The torch developed a severe leak at the watercooler inlet connection about 6-7 months out from purchase after light use and proper storage of the torch when not in use. They replaced the torch for me and everything was fine until the same exact problem developed 6 months later. In speaking with the warranty department I was told that the warranty only is good for one year from the purchase date of the original part, because (and I quote) "if it was good for 1 year from the replacement then everybody would just be calling every 9 months to get a new torch." It sounds like they are fully aware that their products are going to fail in a short time span. They don't make replacement parts for their torches so the option I am left with is purchasing a new torch. I bought this machine thinking it was going to be a great product at an affordable price. While it works pretty darn well most of the time it is certainly not worth the head ache of finding out that the machine is not usable every 6 months or so. Save yourself the hassle and go with a well known machine that has a solid warranty service that you likely will never use because the products work and are built to last.
