January 9, 2023 I scheduled an apt on the pepboys website. I received a phone call stating the brand/type of tires I ordered online (via pep boys) was not available at their location, nonetheless somehow they ordered it elsewhere and made it happen same day. Upon arrival they asked for my confirmation/order #. I Purchased 4 new tires with a wheel alignment, total cost of $1,494.49. I paid in the store, cash. I was not offered any kind of warranty. January 24th,2023 one of my tires is completely flat, from Jan 9th-23 I had only driven my car 11 miles per day (I work from home) I took the car to pep boys they said there's nothing they could do for me, no warranty was purchased (IT WAS NEVER OFFERED!). I paid $1,500 for 4 new tires & an alignment, why wouldn't I purchase a $80 warranty should it had been offered to me. Now most businesses offer a 30 day warranty. *** Boys did not take in my car to review properly, the manager came out and pointed at small puncture and that they could fix it with another tire purchase of $400. This is abuse, no warranty was ever offered upon purchase nor was my car properly inspected.. a malfunction or leak in the valve stem can be the culprit. There's a few other consumers who have reported the SAME ISSUE. New tires and next few days a FLAT. ******** has a 30-day Pledge. *** Boys were careless and had no interest in helping in any way.

    To whom it may concern,

On January 7th 2023, Customer set an appointment for a tire installation on a 2017 Chevrolet Camaro.  On January 9th 2023 the service was performed.

This work order (Ref SWO *******) was an online appointment that was set up by the customer through the ********************** website. The customer also built their own package and ordered the tires as well,  When the vehicle came in everything on the work order was already built and all we have to do is perform the service that the customer requested on the work order.

When customer build orders online they are given the option for **** HAZZARD WARRANTY that they have to manually unclick if they decided they do not want it.

On January 24th 2023, when the customer came in with a flat tire, it was discovered that it was a puncture that was too close to the sidewall to repair.  This would have been a **** HAZZARD repair.  But the **** HAZZARD was not included in her initial workorder (REF SWO *******).

It is also stated in the work order (REF SWO *******) that the customer declined the **** HAZZARD WARRANTY.
