I called this company to come out and replace 2 valves for my washer/dryer unit. I called Friday 2/28 at 9:41am and asked what their rate was for replacing 2 valves and the guy quoted me $125 for the first hour and then $63 per hour after that plus parts. I scheduled an appointment for Monday 3/3. I asked if I could have a later time due to my work schedule. He said he could do between 2-5pm and I said okay. I also told him that there was a washer/dryer in the way that needs to be pulled out. I also asked how to pay for the work, he told me CC, cash or check. I said I wanted to pay with a check. They said they needed a card on file to hold the appointment so I gave them a debit card. They came out on Monday 3/3 at 3pm and were there until 5PM. I asked how much everything was and how I can pay and the technician told me I will receive an email invoice. I had been waiting all week for that invoice and never received anything until Thursday 3/6 when I received a receipt for $1254.50. I called the company instantly and asked why they charged me without providing me an itemized invoice and that I never authorized them to charge my card. I also asked why I was charged so much for a small 2 hour job. The girl named ******** said she would forward the invoice. After looking at the invoice they charged me $215 for the first hour (which is not what they originally quoted me) and then $125 for 1.5 hours then $750 for labor overtime for 2 workers. I called ******** asap and asked why I was 1) being charged $215 for the first hour when I was told $125 2) being charged for any overtime fees when I was NEVER told there were fees for overtime. ******** was extremely rude and told me that I was told these things over the phone and that their overtime rates start at 3pm. I was NEVER told I would be at an overtime time frame and I never authorized them to charge my card without seeing any invoice. This company was NOT honest about their rates and proceeded to call me a liar.
