    I called ********** and got a $850 voucher to help get my car to pass smog, I called Guarantee Auto Repair on Nov. 30 set a date for the dec. 1 to drop off my car they told me they would have my car for two days. I knew the only thing wrong was i needed a Catalytic Converter. I already had two quotes on how much it would be parts and labor, the first quote i had was $500 second was $550 which both were good, I have already had to replace one in *************************** $350 for everything so i knew it was going to be more. well when he called me to tell me that he needed to replace it i already knew, he was going to charge me $218 out of my own pocket for the work. i did voice my opinion on that matter and let them know they were a rip off, but told him whatever just fix it i needed my car smog to get my tags. when my niece picked up my car they were rude to her and didn't have my old catalytic in my car like i asked them to do. they drove my car till the gas light came on and when i asked mind you i was very upset i called and asked where they drove it cause it should of lasted. they hung up on me. On Friday the day after she picked up my car the check engine light came back on for the same code. (P0420) I was ****** but i cleared the code with my code reader. i figured maybe it was a fluke, well dec 17 it came back on same code. The Voucher place told me to take my car back i don't want to. I feel like they did a s***** job and I'm sure they gave me a s***** Catalytic, no reason for it to come back if they fixed the problem. I don't feel they live up to their work. I don't think if i take my car back they will do the work right and not do more damage to my car.

    We will have to refuse service to this customer as she has been very rude to our techs . This customer needs to find another shop that could deal with her attitude . At Guarantee Auto Repair we provide world class services to all our customers and our techs deserve to be treated with respect and be thankful for their work . If this customer does not feel she got the services then they are many other shops she could choose to take it .

    I am rejecting this response because: first I admitted I was rude, one my car is my life an I thought I was getting a good shop but when you look at their work it says different. My check engine light shouldnt have came back on the next day for the same code nor should it come back on two weeks later. Plus the weld they did was horrible looks like an amateur did it and thats probably why my check engine light came back on for the same code p0420, so if they guarantee their work and say that they do it for the outlet great job yeah right this is bull. They over charged and do crappy work and the fact that my check engine light came back on the next day after they had my car is proof that they dont do proper work
