    I am writing to file a complaint regarding a recent service I received at an automotive repair shop. I initially paid $240 to have my exhaust system installed. The shop did a great job with the initial installation and asked me to return the next day to address some sounds I found concerning.Upon returning, I explained the issue, and they charged me an additional $120 to investigate and make adjustments. However, when I picked up my car, it sounded exactly the same as it did before the first service. I informed the shop that there was no improvement, but they refused to redo the work or restore it to the original condition I had paid ****** a result, I am now out $360, and my car still has the same issue that I brought it in for. I believe this is unacceptable and poor business practice.     My car was having issues with the catalytic convertor where then I took it to ************************ located at *************************************************** around March/April 2021 to get it fixed when picking up my car after repairs he said I would have at least a 2year warranty. My car started running crappy and a check engine light came on. In May 2022 and I went to get my car diagnosed at a local store where they said it was my catalytic converter that was clogged making my car run crappy. I went to Antonio's mufflers in July 2022 to let him know of my catalytic converter having issues and that my car would stall and I wasn't able to drive past a mile. He said that I needed a receipt for him to see what was going on with my car, unfortunately I lost my receipt. He said without a receipt he wouldn't be able to look into it because he did all his transactions with paper and pen and then sent off to his bookkeeper. He said he would need a date and time so that he could see if he replaced it or even attempt looking for the invoice. I know that before him starting any work k gave him a deposit where he e entered in a computer and once part came in I paid the remaining amount. I couldn't believe that he couldn't search me with a name, phone # or even the serail# of the catalytic converter that I paid him to Replace. He said that he didn't think that it was my catalytic converter because they usually don't go bad quick. I left and then decided to get a 2nd diagnose, at this point my car would start but wouldn't run and had to be towed to the ******* dealership. I paid $190 for diagnostic and they in said that my catalytic converter needed to be replaced as well as other parts that work with the catalytic convertor. I understand I lost my receipt but there should be a way to look for the service be provided and be able to assist somehow and take responsibility of his failed work provided.
