    Complaint Against ECS BUILDERS GROUP, ****License #******* (General B)On August 21, 2024, we signed a contract with ECS BUILDERS GROUP, **** for a full interior and exterior remodel of our home at ****************************************. The project was initially scheduled for completion within 12 to 15 weeks (by November 1327, 2024).On August 29, 2024, *** claimed they were ahead of schedule and requested a shift from biweekly to weekly payments, which we accommodated, setting a new completion date of October 24, 2024. This deadline was not met.Around the same time, subcontractors reported non-payment by ***, including plumbers, electricians, and labor crews. These workers ceased work on-site, leaving tasks unfinished. *** apparently told their own workers to blame us as clients for non-payment, despite bank records showing over 90% of the $255,000 contract amount ($240,000) had already been paid by us to ****** good faith, we extended the final deadline to December 13, 2024. Yet, as of December 30, 2024, the work remains significantly incomplete. On top of that a lot of the work has significant quality issues and safety hazards due to poor craftsmanship and repeated corrections.Communication has been sporadic and unreliable. Edan ****** *****, the owner, is frequently unreachable and has consistently failed to meet promised timelines. Meanwhile, he continues to demand additional payments for questionable "new findings."We are exhausted by the dishonesty and mismanagement. We seek:- Immediate completion of the project to agreed-upon standards.- A partial refund to compensate for delays, poor workmanship, and emotional distress inflicted on our family.We look forward to the BBBs assistance in resolving this matter swiftly.
