    I was towed by J&T towing at my apartment complex. The owner, ******************************* informed me over text that the price to release my vehicle was $450, cash-only. He demanded cash several times and said the release fee could only be paid in cash. Upon arriving to pick up my vehicle, his employee informed me that I would have to pay $650 cash-only to release my vehicle. I called ********************** and asked him if I could pay the original price of $450. His answer was, "you will have to go to your bank and pull out more or you will not get your car back." I reluctantly paid his employee the $650 cash payment but was not provided with an itemized receipt. His employee told me to ask ********************** for it. Upon asking ********************** for the receipt, he told me to ask his employee, but I had already left the tow lot. I followed up with ********************** about the provision of the receipt, yet he has still failed to provide me with me one. Moreover, he placed a BBB placard outside of his office window, yet his business is not BBB accredited.
