For over a year now, I have been receiving a bill from Certified Healthcare Billing for a visit to my old physician. The bill is in the amount of $90. The dates of service are 1/24/22 and 3/22/22. The physician's name is *******************************. I have given my credit card information several times in an effort to pay -- and began documenting the calls on May 5, 2022, when a woman who identified herself as ********* took my payment information. When the statements continued, I also spoke with a woman named ******* on Nov 7 2022, who I thought was processing my payment and ending these statements. They have continued and now, I can no longer get anyone from Certified Healthcare Billing to return my calls. Most recently, I received a statement dated 2/26/23. I would very much like to get these to stop. Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide.

      Business Response

      Date: 04/01/2025

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to Ms. ********** concerns.

We take all patient inquiries seriously and are committed to providing courteous and helpful support. While we understand the frustration expressed in this complaint, we would like to clarify several important points:

Call Responsiveness: ********** always answers incoming phone calls during business hours, as we routinely assist patients with billing-related questions. We do not have a system in place to identify individual callers unless they provide specific account or patient details, so we cannot verify Ms. ********** claim of attempted contact. However, her assertion that no one answered her calls is incorrectour team is consistently available and responsive.

Employee Misidentification: Ms. ******** states that a person named ********* took her payment information. We have thoroughly reviewed our internal records and confirmed that no employee by that name has ever worked at Certified Healthcare Billing. It is likely that this interaction took place with the physicians office, not with our company.

Clarification Provided: We have spoken with Ms. ******** and explained that Certified Healthcare Billing (CHB) did not process her credit card payment. All payment-related matters were handled directly by the *****************. We have communicated this multiple times and encouraged her to contact the ************** for any payment resolution.

We remain happy to assist with any questions or help clarify billing details further. However, we respectfully reiterate that CHB does not process payments and has no control over card transactions or billing statements issued by the providers office.
      Sincerely,
      Certified Healthcare Billing
