My car was repossessed by Signal Auto on June 17th, 2022. I attempted to reach out to get information about my car several times and was getting nothing but very mild responses. I was told I was behind on car payments but when I received the total of what I owed back to them in the mail, I was confused to see why it was showing one payment amount that had already been paid. They then tried to charge me attorney fees, other fees I wasn't aware of. I went in person to speak to the owner or manager of this business and he was very rude and dismissive towards me. I also had a car screen installed in the car and I've reached out several times on getting it back since it's my property as well and have gotten no respond. I'm left confused and with no car. The owner has treated me like garbage and I'm not the only person who's received this treatment from this person.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/08/11) */ The result of several missed payments and late payments on your car loan caused your account to become delinquent. Defaulting on your car loan payments lead to the repossession of the vehicle. The language in your loan contract (that you signed) states that the lender can start the repossession process once your account is considered default. Your car repossession followed the proper process due to several late and missed payments. Our records indicate a late payment was made every month since Sept. 2021 by 30 days, 73 days, 1 day, 4 days, 2 days, 27 days, 24 days, 6 days. Technically we have the right to put your account into default in less than 24 hours after a missed payment. We tried to work with you several times and you still continued to miss payments and failed to make payments on time therefore resulting in the repossession of the vehicle. Falling behind on your car loan payment has serious consequences including being held responsible for the fees associated with a car repossession Defaulting on your account has caused Signal Auto great financial loss.
