    We asked Golden Oak to give an estimate to remove massive pine trees in our yard. The price was competitive, we hired them. We regret it. The carelessness with which the operate reveals a staggering level of incompetence. I took off work twice, only to have them not show up, losing valuable vacation days. They caused thousands of dollars of damage to our home, and neighbors. The evidence of their negligence is overwhelming: Golden ******** dropped limbs on power lines, cutting off my neighbors electricity and LADWP emergency call to replace the main power line Crew backed truck into my neighbors brick mailbox, destroying it. Owner ********* said he would pay for compensation Crew miscalculated when lowering a massive tree section weighing close to a ton, hitting side of our home causing thousands of dollars in structural damage ******** backed a truck into our retaining wall, causing cracks and displacement Crew knocked caps off the masonry Crew dropped large trunk sections weighing hundreds of pounds, pulverizing the public sidewalk Branches were dropped on our fence, damaging a dozen or more boards ******** dragged limbs out of backyard over and a mature privacy tree, destroying it down to a scraggly ***** The team left piles of mulch, branches and trash on our property as well as on the public sidewalk and street for many days without cleaning it up Neighbors complained directly to me about the Golden ******** blocking the street and private driveways A neighbor was also left with branches and debris for days with out the crew coming back to take it away Golden Oak *************************** assured everything would be taken care of, but they are mostly ignoring all of our calls, texts and emails for the last month. When they do contact us they say theyll come over, get it done or look into it, but never follow up. Unfortunately we must now go to our insurance company to mitigate the damages to our property and file complaints where we can.BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY
