I used I Love Moving for my move from ************* to ******. Everything went well until a few days before the expected delivery date. I called them to know at what time I could expect the movers. I was told that I was not on their planning!!! Then, two days before delivery, I received a text message requesting me to pay an additional **** euros (on top of the 20K+ I had already paid) or they would not deliver!!! This is what I call racketeering. I received very fuzzy explanations on why I would have to pay anything but had no choice but to pay...

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience that might have been caused to you, and if our contract wasn't more clear about the destination charges, we always have these details in writing for transparency.
Our team has previously advised that we can't know the exact destination charges until a delivery address is provided, which was given to the delivery crew when they were setting up the delivery with you, after which they've proceeded to set up a date and clear the remaining balance on file before the delivery is confirmed. Delivery can be tentatively scheduled with pending payment but not performed before all of the charges have been paid for, and the breakdown has been provided on the invoice and afterward upon request.
We are truly sorry if there was a delay in receiving the confirmed breakdown before the tentative delivery date, and we appreciate your feedback as this is an area where we'd like to improve in the future to prevent similar situations from causing stress to our clients.
