      We were scammed by this company. We were told that we would be receiving a $11,000 rebate in our taxes from the state of California for energy efficiency home renovations. That was a lie.

      October 2023, I had several things done to my house. After projects were done everything was good from what I can see. The project managers that work for Renovate works scheduled my roof, painting and Attic Insulation all together. My attic was finished before the roofing was done. All was good from the pictures shown me. After my roof was done all was good to accept in my garage there was scattered shingles from the old/new roof. I called the project managers, and they had the company come clean the mess. It wasn't perfectly clean but okay since I couldn't move a lot of the boxes I had in the garage. Then come August 2024 about 10 months after the roof and attic was done. I had someone do my crawlspace insulation and asked him if he can take a look at my attic because my house was still very hot. He said it was all dirty which looked like shingles everywhere. I went up there took a video and yes it was scattered shingles like the garage had. It is everywhere and nobody at Renovate Works have tried to resolve this issue. I'm still paying payments on this work and now I have to look into getting this redone. This is no easy clean like the garage. I find it as a fire hazard it being hotter then 100 degrees up there with scattered pieces of Shingles. The voicemail box with the number give to me is full and not able to leave a message. I texted and no response!!

Kindly have the client call our office so we can resolve any outstanding matters. With out her cooperation we cannot begin the process of handling the complaint accordingly.

      I am rejecting this response because: I was left a message on 5/23/25 from a Daniel. I called back twice on 5/25/25 and again on 5/27/25 and left a message at the 800-261-8696 and still no call back. It will be great if they send an email to [email protected] so I can reach someone quickly. As calls come in with a lot of Spam numbers from out of state or 800 numbers. Having a direct number to reach back with hours provided if I missed the call. But, again an email would be better so I can call quickly.

      If they call there is never a voicemail. Just one time they left a voicemail and I called back with no answer.  I’m going to call them today 6-19-25 to see if anyone calls. Why don’t they leave a name when responding to these complaints like I do.

      I have recently reviewed the total invoice ($199,270.00) for the work done over several months to my home. To help cover this I agreed to a loan for up to $55,000 with ********. ******** has confirmed the full $55,000 was given to Renovate. I have paid from my personal account 9 checks totaling $148,120.00 leaving a difference of $51,150.00 that should have been paid from the ******** loan of $55,000. The difference of $3,850 needs to be reimbursed back to me immediately as I should have been billed only the amount used to cover the cost of the project. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.This was the email I sent to the company two times and received no response. Also sent text messages to the contractor Nil and left him messages with no response.
