    I purchased tickets for the Rodeo in Tehachapi. The rodeo was supposed to take place on August 20th 2023, but it was rained out. I seen that they postponed it until the 14th of October, and if you wanted a refund to contact them. I would rather go to the rain check rodeo, so when I went today October 14th they said I'm not allowed to go in unless I wanted to to go in the general admission, but I purchased 4 VIP tickets that means they were ripping me off for $60. The owner also told me they won't refund my tickets that I purchased. The Tehachapi Mountain Rodeo Association is very unprofessional unlike their website name says. I would like a full refund and a complaint filed. I still have the tickets because I refused to be ripped off by the owner. I paid $30 each VIP ticket.

    The  person with the complaint bought tickets for a rodeo 08/20/2023 that was canceled by the City due to weather concerns, it was a city wide shut down due to hurricane *******.  WE posted directions on how and what to do to receive a refund on 08/20/2023.  All online tickets were automatically refunded per the ticketing company, we sold 45 in person tickets and asked those people to reach out for refunds, as of 10/10/2023 we refunded 65 tickets! to people who sent pics online or told us they bought tickets and threw away, washed etc!!! WE POSTED ON OUR WEBSITE, ********* INTSTAGRAM and over 10 community social media sites. WE told the 4 in person ticketing sites to have people contact us for refund.  SUNDAYS 8/20 rodeo was not rescheduled.   We did offer a "rain Check Rodeo" as a replacement for the 8/19/2023 rodeo, those people were allowed to use their previous tickets for those that showed up on 8/`19/2023.  That rodeo was cancelled 2 events into the performance.  THOSE PEOPLE HAD DIFFERENT TICKETS and we made the directions on line very clear on how to obtain a refund for the Sunday Rodeo,  WE ALSO HAVE A PHONE LINE AND ALL PHONE CALLS WERE RETURNED IF THEY LEFT A MESSAGE, or any attempt was made to contact us.  AS the person stated he did not want a refund he wanted to attend the rodeo in the *** area, THE *** area for the replacement rodeo was only for Sponsors that had sponsored a minimum of $500.  I was the person that spoke to the gentleman and explained that we were no longer doing refunds as he had had 8 weeks to request one and we stopped on the 10th.  HE told me he called, No record, never saw postings ( although he told you he had) .  I offered to let him in the general Admission area with his family, I offered to have him pay the additional amount that ***'s Sponsor pay  and  he choose to go into general admission and I personally walk his family to the gate, when I asked for his tickets he told me "no he was keeping them to blast us on ************ and the BBB" I said with out the tickets he could not go in.  He and his family left.  WE as a committee felt the 8 weeks was a fair enough time frame to request a refund.  IF someone wants a refund they normally reach out immediately.  He had 8 weeks. He wanted to go to a completely different event and have *** privileges reserved for sponsors. In all honestly if he had not lied to me about several things, and had been pleasant when I got involved and not threatened to "Blast us on SM" I would of probably allowed them to come in.

     I am rejecting this response because: I spoke with Chamber's of Commerce, and they refunded my $120, and told me they pass on the message about hoe rude this lady was. She told me she's the boss and the complaint won't go no where because she's allowed to do whatever she wants. The event was a rain check rodeo for the one that was canceled technically not another event. They deserve this to be put on their website. I will never TRY and go to another event they have.
