    We purchased a set of tie down straps from this company which ended up not working out. We called the company to see if we could send the product back even though it had been used since we tried them out. The customer service representative said that that would be just fine and even said that we didn’t need to worry about wrapping the strap back around the plastic packaging when my husband mentioned doing so. She proceeded to email us an RMA to send the items back stating “product did not work for customer” and “restock and refund” once received. We then proceeded to pay the return shipping for the item to have it returned within a few business days. However, once the item was received Victor emailed us and said that they were not going to honor their word to refund us for the item. I explained that the reason we paid to ship them back and checked ahead of time was to be sure they could be refunded and I have the RMA showing this. The lady we spoke to said that there was no problem returning them. I have the RMA and photos of the straps.

    Despite what the customer claims, they were told we would take the straps back if they did not show signs of use and were in new condition. When we received the straps, they were clearly used and obviously showed it. The RMA they received which said “restock and refund” was simply a description of our process. It still relies on the product we receive being in new condition. We offered a partial refund but the customer refused.

     I am rejecting this response because:
    This company is being very dishonest as their customer service representative which we spoke to on the phone DID NOT mention any stipulations to returning the item. The straps were also in good condition when returned and we informed the company that we had tried them to see if they would work. Is it possible to find out if the company records conversations with customers to playback what was said?
