This company advertises and sells a course to set up and run a successful shopify store
to advertise and sell products sources from multiple vendors. The company states that
following their program and implementing their strategies a store can be successfully
set up and become profitable. The course costs $4,800 not including any additional
products and services required to set up a store. The course also included 90 days of
coaching which at the time was thought to be one on one but it turns out to be a major
group call twice a week with limited time to attend the call. Questions and answers are
limited and do not provide any assistance. The course itself does not contain any
proprietary information. Any and all information in the course is outdate and can be
found online for free. The course is extremely poorly set up and poorly made. I have
made many attempts and spent more than anticipated to make this endeavor work. So
far no resolution has worked. I have made multiple requests for assistance from the
company but have not received any. I keep getting blown off for help. Payment was
made in full for $4,800 and there was a contract signed on 10/31/2021. However,
payment was demanded up front before the contract agreement can be viewed and
signed. Also my specific contract contained outdate policies/liabilities and had the
incorrect amount listed in the terms. I stated that this contract is void and requested a
full refund of $4,800. The company to this day has declined to refund my money and
will not respond to requests anymore. Since I am in ******** I do not know if I have any
recourse of action to get my money back. My end goal is to seek a full refund of $4,800.
Otherwise I will have to seek ********** counsel and file a lawsuit for an undisclosed

Dear *****,
Convert & Scale, which launched in 2021, helps
entrepreneurs build and scale ecommerce brands.
At Convert & Scale, we pride ourselves in creating a
safe, secure environment for our customers to interact. That’s why it is
disappointing to discover that customer ****** ******** filed a complaint with
The Better Business Bureau.
****** ******** created a “Basic Membership” account on October
28, 2021. His card was charged $4,800.00 on October 27, 2021. April 23, 2023, Vatche
filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau claiming issues with our
mentorship program. We are challenging ******** claim with proof the claim
is invalid.
Since claim was classified with reason issues with the
product/service, we have included the following details. The attached evidence
explains why we are challenging this dispute.
The signed consulting agreement, where ****** agreed to the terms and conditions.
Authorize.net Charge for ****** on October 27, 2021.
Email between ****** and The Ecom Wolf Team.
Email asking for a refund.
In addition to the attached evidence, we wanted to include
the following information:
****** started the mentorship program on October 2021.
****** did not show up to the calls. He even refers to the calls in his email that they did not work with his current works schedule.
****** requested a refund 3 months after the program was done.
****** filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau on April 23, 2023, 18 months after he initially signed up for the program.

I am rejecting this response because:
The contract is null and void, the contract clearly states a said amount which differs what was paid. You did not provide adequate or any at all assistance for said program, your product does not contain proprietary information and provide zero value to your clients. Your representative ****** also stated that I would be making revenue within 30 days of using your program. You provided no assistance via your "mentorship". I am not the only one who has this issue. Dozens of students have had the exact same complaints as me. Your business is clearly a scam. Also your business policies and contracts violate Colorado state laws in regards to contracts and business operation. Your response is rejected and you are legally required to issue a refund for a full amount. Failure to provide a refund will result in a lawsuit which may or may not become class action with other clients of yours for fraud, false advertisement, contract performance failures.Business Response

Dear *****,
Mr. ******** has made significant claims against Convert
& Scale, LLC DBA The Ecom Wolf. He claimed that our contract is null, and
void related to a price issue in the contract, that the company did not provide
adequate information or provide value. He stated that one of our
representatives told him that he would be making revenue in 30 days. He claims
that we have multiple students that have had the same issues as he has. He also
stated that we did not follow the laws in Colorado. We are disappointed in Mr. ********** claims and will provide an explanation of why his claims are not valid and that
he should not receive a refund.
Mr. ******** claimed that our contract was null and void
because there was an error in the price of the contract. A mistake in contract
price does not automatically result in the contract being voided, as it depends
on the circumstances of the mistake and whether it goes to the heart of the
contract or was induced by fraud or misrepresentation. If one party has made a
mistake in the price, but the other party is aware of the mistake or has no
reason to suspect it, then the contract will typically be enforced, as the
mistake is not seen as affecting the formation of the contract. Mr. ******** was aware of the difference in price on the contract and still paid the actual
agreed amount of $4,800. He started the program and never requested a refund
for the difference or asked for the contract to be voided while participating
in the program.
Mr. ******** claimed that the company did not provide
adequate information, provide value, or assist him. We provide an excellent
program for our students to learn e-commerce and have had many successful
students. Mr. ******** claimed in his own email that his work schedule did not
agree with our class schedule and was not able to attend the classes. While our
coaches can provide guidance, support, and resources to help students succeed,
they cannot force students to engage in the learning process. Ultimately, it is
the responsibility of the student to take ownership of their education and make
a conscious effort to learn and grow. When a student fails to attend class,
they are missing out on important information and opportunities to interact
with our coaches.
Mr. ******** claimed that one of our representatives told
him that he would be making revenue in 30 days. This statement is not true and
does not align with our values or marketing. As an organization, we strive to
maintain a consistent brand image that reflects our core values. We believe
that our efforts should always be guided by integrity, authenticity, and a
commitment to providing value to our students. This is shared by all
representatives of the company from our administrative staff all the way to the
owner of the company.
Mr. ******** claims that many students have complained about
the same issues he has. We are proud to report that our mentorship program has
produced many successful graduates. Our graduates have gained valuable
knowledge, skills, and experience through our program, and have applied these
resources to run a successful e-commerce business. We are confident that our
program will continue to produce many more successful graduates in the years to
come, and we look forward to seeing the positive impact we make in the world.
Mr. ******** claimed that our contract does not follow the
laws in the state of Colorado. Contract law is governed by state law. This
means that the terms and conditions of the contract are subject to the laws of
the state in which the contract is formed. Therefore, if a contract is written
in California, it will be governed by California state law, even if the parties
involved are from Colorado or the contract has some connection to Colorado.

Since fall 2021 she has been on Instagram advertising a course that was supposed to help people learn how to build an e-commerce store. Instead the majority of us of all loat of 10k, the course is a way for her and her team to lure people to pay over 4,800(like I paid)for a 3 month course and then to extend they will charge you an extra 3k or more. I declined because I new it was a scam at this point. The class is disorganized and outdated. She is funding her lifestyle with the class. All of us are contemplating filing a class action lawsuit. I would like a refund for the class because although I attended it was really a waste of time. They couldn't remembering what the other said( his partner is named *****)...the stores they own are worse then the students. All of us have spent thousands on adds on FB, PInterest and Google. I spent over 1k creating videos on band off ads. I can provide the email of other classmates as evidence. I have attached another classmate exposing them and then **** herself bragging about the money they have made.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:
I am not rejecting due to service. First of all ******* is not a person I know. His name is ********. The company is a scam. I originally tried to be positive about spending $4 800 then thousands +6k of dollars on ads, videos from a company they recommended etc... I have over 5 other students and counring who feel the same way and have reported them to Facebook and Instagram when I invest in a course spend 10k plus I except to be legit and in June I started realizing then was just a money grab for them. They tried to sell me another $3,800 class. I am an HR Professional with a Masters degree from Villanova and I know a scam when I experience one. They themselves have ecom stores and I have their websites and they are very basic and students has better websites. The videos on the site were confusing and outdated. They advertised small classes and by the time we left in June they had over 40 students per class at over 5k for entry ...and **** and ****** were giving varying advice to everyone. They pay companies to write articles, but they really do not have any sucvessful longterm success stories. The students **** and ****** who they advertise as successful have written me privately with their own concerns and **** has been in the class almost a year and she told me she has not broken even. ****** told me he actually stopped advertising for a while. I have screenshots from other classmates who also feel scammed and we are considering a class action. They also have complianta on Reddit. They are falsely advertising their course as successful and after my group start in March they started trying to luring people in with guarantees. I have plenty of other students who would be interested in speaking to your team, but they do not know where to go or who to contact. Please let me know who they can reach out too. **** and ****** found out we started a group in telegram that said we were scammed by them and **** changed the name and scheduled a meeting. I did not a attend, because this it is a waste of time. I am requesting a refund of the class and I will be reporting them to the State of California as well. I sent you a post where **** is bragging about her students and classes success - but there is truly no students who have been successful- she used that to lure people in. She also pays people to make it seem like they are a success story. We have asked her multiple times to show us true success stories and she can not past the initial 1 or so for ****** from Australia.
