My fianc and I booked Chef ****** in April 2023 for our November 2023 wedding. Prior to securing our $2346.03 non-refundable deposit, he was responsive via text and e-mail, friendly, and we had a 4-hour tasting of amazing food. After receiving our non-refundable deposit, we scheduled a time in late April to pick up the remaining food we didnt get to try during our initial tasting. My fianc, mother in law and I drove 1 hour to meet Chef ****** and he did not show up, did not answer texts or phone calls. He did drive down and drop off our food, so our concerns were put to rest because he did try and make up for his error in scheduling and communication.Months go by, and we start to try and communicate more in mid-July. We send a series of questions and do not receive a response until September 19th, to which we receive a text that he has been busy during wedding season and responded to a scam wedding coordinator. We use the opportunity of this resumed contact to schedule a time to meet at our venue, and in writing, Chef ****** confirmed he would come to our venue on September 24 at 2PM. Once again, our family drove an hour north to go to the venue, we show up, and he isnt there. He is not answering texts and his phone calls are going straight to voicemail. We text him that were going with a different caterer and want a refund on our deposit. We dont receive any communication until ~4PM the next day, September 25th. Chef ****** informs us that he fell very ill on Saturday the 24th, and as he doesnt have health insurance, his friend had to take him to ******* for medical treatment. He said he is now feeling like a million bucks and wants to give us credit for our *next* event with him, and that this would be a hot deal because he only allows exclusive members to book with Precise Catering.I stopped responding after receiving a guilt trip that he might not be able to fill our weekend with new customers.

We ordered catering for our wedding on December 31, 2022 from Precise Catering Temecula. We had worked out the details of the catering service in a contract, which was finalized on November 8, 2022. Briefly, we requested a drop-off catering to be delivered on 12/31/2022 at 4:30 PM. On 12/31/2022, the catering company arrived over 4 hours later than the agreed time at 8:45 PM. Rather than a drop-off service we requested, the caterers remained at the venue for over 1.5 hours, so this was not a drop-off. As a result of them overstaying at the venue, they dropped several items on the floor, including a Sterno (flammable blue gel), which damaged the shelf/countertop at the venue. Additionally, several food items we ordered were not delivered to us and foods that we did not order were presented. The unsolicited addition of “extras”, which we declined, did not provide any reconciliation for the missed items that were outlined in our contract. We reached out to this catering company multiple times via phone and email to resolve this issue amongst ourselves but we've received no response at all.
