    I began discussing the instalation of a genorator with ***** ****** from the EPX group in August of 2022. We discussed the cost of a permit for the genroator (wanted it to be permited), and the options for a solar battery to compliment our 14 solar panels and make a more secure and complete system. I discussed my financial situation and needs, applied for the funding and was approved. Wethen signed the contract for installation on 9/14/2022

    For the next several months after EPX received my 5,000 dollar down payment communication was extremely limited. I only got updates when I cantacted them. What was very upsetting was that everytime I reached out they were suddenly in need of something. I called and expressed my frustration to ****** ****** in November of 2022, who then informed me that the delay was due to the processing of a permit Iwas unaware of. As far as I knew no permit was needed, but now it was needed for the battery.
    Things did not imprve. I emailed ****** to ask her for an update on 12/14 (The 12 week mark) to find out that the permit was still delayed. I wrote back to ****** expressing my frustration. ******** response was to accept accountabiliity for the lack of communication and stated they would be working on this is 2023. Since then the deadline on my financing has passed and were not approved despie having the same income. I spoke to *** ******** and asked for a reasonable resolution. He denies any responsability for the breach of contract deadline, or desire to resolve the issues. He states that they will return our deposit minus the 1800 dollar permit fee, and 20% restocking fee for each item meaning that they will keep our 5,000 dollars and bill us for a contract that they broke.

    I believe this to have been resolved since the initial complaint. Our team did step in and offer solutions as means of mediation to honor the contract in place, but have since not only had an agreement with the home owner to move forward with the contract as signed—the project was completed and began its installation this last Monday and just passed final inspection today March 10th. This project is complete and fulfilled- there should be no conflict/concern at this time.
