We purchased new vinyl flooring from this company throughout the entire downstairs and stairs of our house. The flooring was installed by Precision Flooring in July 2020. With in 6 months we noticed cupping and lifting in areas. We notified installed in July 2021. He has independent investigator determine manufacturing or installation fault. Ultimately he replaced the individual planks that were cupping and lifting in Oct 2021. In March of 2022 we contacted him again because the flooring was doing it again is the same and additional areas. March 22 2022, **** the owner of Precision Flooring and the Flooring representative same out to inspect and again on April 19th with a different inspector. July 2022 they replaced the entire flooring. In Dec 23 we contacted **** again as the floors were cupping and lifting again in the same spots. He came out and inspected Dec 15th 2023. He indicated he was trying to get a verdict from the investigator that it was a manufactured defect. By April of ************************************************************* replaced. He insisted he could repair. The repair effort was extremely unprofessional (wrong flooring, wrong baseboards, baseboards painted the wrong color, flooring glued rather than put together correctly, and not enough flooring to fix all areas of concern. The actual installers the most recent time said that it was a matter of time before it happens again. And now our flooring is beginning to cup and lift again. We paid $15,000 for flooring that had a 10 year warranty and have had nothing but issues.

We had first installed Mr.Crockers flooring July of 2020.Roughly a year later they were having is***s with the flooring they chose and Precision Flooring went to the customers house to do an assessment and found the floor had some slight cupping. I then hired an independent inspector to go to the customers home to do an inspection, (Inspection report attached) which the inspector found NO INSTALLATION is***s. It was a flooring manufacture is***. So I contacted the American Flooring Distributors, the manufacturer of this product. Since the original install they had discontinued that particular line to make it a little thicker because of so many is***s and claims they were receiving.  The manufacturer gave us new material since the is*** was theirs. Precision Flooring demoed the existing floor and installed the new floor, all at no cost to the customer. Then in early 2024 the customer reached out again with the same is***s that they had before. We followed the same procedure. We came out, looked at the floors, hired an inspector to reevaluate the floors. The inspection report came back the same. NO INSTALLATION is***s, it was a manufacturer is***. This time. the manufacturer refused to take responsibility, they said "You're going to have to *** us".

As the installers of the material, we are responsible for the work done. When it is proven time and time again that the material is faulty, the ownership becomes the manufacturer's to make it right through their own warranty. We have gone above and beyond to try and make this right for the customer. I have come out of pocket more than double the amount I would have profited from the job. At this point what more can I do Precision Flooring did not make the material and did install it according to the manufacture's guidelines and material still failed.

February 7, ******************************* store warranty is 10 years labor, 25 years product. Our floor started cracking and lifting up 2 years and 3 months after installation. Precision flooring no longer carries this product because this problem is happening with other customers. The owner **** told us during an installation after ours was put in the team of workers stopped the install and pulled the flooring up because it was cracking during installation. **** offered to replace the cracked flooring with the same flooring at no charge, or put in a different flooring and we pay the difference of $5928.49. That's ridiculous! If we had known we would never have chosen a defective product. The actual cost difference of the 2 products is less than $400. If put in from the beginning. I don't mind paying something fair but paying almost $14,000 in total just isn't right!

Precision Flooring has been in contact with ***************** the entire time. She would like us to replace her floor with a more expensive floor which I had explained to her she would have to pay the difference in cost. There is a total of **** SQFT that we had originally installed. After going to customers house to look at their issue I saw that about 100 SQFT was damaged by the island so I told them I would fix the damaged area at no cost to her but she then wants us to replace her entire floor with the more expensive material and labor (even the part of the flooring that has 0 damage) at no cost to her. I am willing to fix the damaged areas only at NO COST to the customer but if she would like her whole floor replaced she would have to pay the difference. (Material and Labor) I am more than willing to help but Precision Flooring should not have to pay for the areas that are not affected. Precision Flooring also only offers a 1 year installation warranty not a 10 year.

Please let me know if there is anything else we can do

      Thank You
