  False advertising. The Quiet Cool advertising videos and the phone salesmen at Quiet Cool tell you that if during the night you run a Quiet Cool whole house fan that provides at least 2 CFM per square foot of your house and if your attic also has adequate free vent space for that fan then at 7 am the temperature in your house will be THE SAME as the temperature outside .THIS IS ABSOLUTLY FALSE ADVERTIZING!!! . My house is 36x32 = 1152 sq ft . The Quiet Cool fan I installed is the 4700 model(rated at 4195 CFM) which is 3.64 CFM per SQ FT. YET at 7 am -after running all night -the indoor temperature is ALWAYS 8F HIGHER THAN THE OUTDOOR TEMPERATURE(aka the night time low) and that too only if I run it at HIGH SPEED ***** amps- for 9 hours !!! THATS A LOT OF ELECTRICITY!!! The 4700 model requires 6-7 SQ FT of free vent space in the attic .My house has ***** SQ FT of free vent space. According to Quite Cool BOTH the **** CFM and the free vent space of my house are more than adequate and should cool my house Temperature at 7 am to the same temperature as the night time low. THE ****** After comparing indoor and outside temperature at 7 am for 6 weeks I find that the out door temperature is ALWAYS 8F WARMER THAN THE ***** TIME LOW For example On June the 13th the high was 91F and the low was 63F . At 7 am the temperature in the house was 71F. On July 13th the high was 96F and the Low was 72F .At 7 am am the temperature in the house was 80F .I could have achieved a 9F difference by putting a $25.00 2500 CFM 20 box fan in one window of my house and sealing it air tight AND IT WOULD run on only 0.5 amps. ( 1/10th the electricity the 4700 consumes at high speed ) The 4700 costs $1299.00 and consumes 10 times the electricity of a 2500 CFM box fan !!! THAT is a lot of money and electricity to get 1F closer to the night time low temperature. . If I had not been mislead by the FALSE advertising I would have gone this route.DISCONTINUE FALSE ADVERTIZING

  While our marketing materials do not state that the system will always balance the inside air temperature to the outside temperature, it is capable of significant cooling under the right conditions. Factors such as the size of your home and the amount of ventilation in your attic play crucial roles.
  
  Regarding your temperature measurements, could you please share what device you are using? If you're using your ** thermostat, it's worth noting that these can have a margin of error of up to 7 degrees. The placement of the thermostat,such as in a corner hallway, can also affect its accuracy.
  
  Additionally,the source of your weather data can impact your observations. Phone weather apps often use data from stations spread out across a region, which may not accurately reflect the temperature in your immediate area.
  
  You mentioned that your home cooled to 71 degrees without using the ** system.Achieving such a temperature solely with the whole house fan, which uses approximately 1/15th of the energy consumption of an ** unit, is quite impressive. Its important to remember that attic temperatures can reach 140 to 150 degrees during the day, and our system is designed to work within these parameters.

  ******************************************* is a video by The bussiness at 1:31 into this video this MARKETING MATERIAL STATES (QUOTE) THAT ATTIC THAT WAS *******F DEGREES IS NOW GOING TO BE BALA**ED IN 30 MINUTES TO ONE HOUR IS GOING TO BE BALA**ED TO WHAT THAT OUTSIDE TEMERATURE WAS ( see attachment A for screen shot of this marketing material and view thew video at the above link )

  CONSIDER: if the  QC Manufacturing Whole House Fan System can do not better than bring the indoor temperature with 8F of the outdoor temperature in MY House which was designed by the ** GREEN BUILDING ******* to be cool in summer.So IF QC Manufacturing Whole House Fan System will not come any where near balancing the indoor and out door temperature in MY HOUSE THEN WHAT house will the QC Manufacturing Whole House Fan System balance the indoor and outdoor temperatures ?!

Right now its 1:00 pm -a sunny 80F outdoors .I just took the temperature of my attic with a mercury thermometer it is only 85F up there. (QC Manufacturing Whole House Fan System says their fan is designed to work when the attic is *******F) so why wont it work as advertise in my house ?
  
  In every way my house EXEEDS(not just meets)  QCs advertised application to get the reults advertised in EXHIBIT A yet it comes NO WHERE CLOSE. yet even after 9 HOURS of  running on HIGH SPEED my indoors is NEVER closer than 8F to out door temperature. (most of the night its 10F warmer indoors but drops to 8F warmer bewteen 5-7 am )

  Now regarding your questions .
  I use a mount a mercury thermometer next to my HVAC thermostat and also use an Ink bird model ITC 308 temperature controller sensor bulb to take temperature readings all 3 devises agree that the out door temperature at 7am is 8F cooler than inside
  71F at 7:00 am is not so impressive since the Low that night was 63F -That is still 8F warner than outside and it is CERTAINLTLY NOT AS ADVTISED IN EXHIBIT A . This result can be achieved with a 2500CF box fan sealed air tight in a window.
  size of your home? 1152 sq ft  the amount of ventilation in your attic ***** sq FT (the model 4700 I have requires only 6-7 sq ft)
  The placement of the thermostat?  Living room wall -opened floor plan
  the source of your weather data?  I take all readings myself ( see question 1) I am a trained scientist and green building enthusiast specializing in cooling houses with shade trees in lieu of HVAC . So I look very closely at temperature readings
  
  Just delete exhibit A and any other materials that claim your system can balance indoor and outdoor temperature and I will accept your reponse .I think you will still sell a lot of units .I recommend that your ads  emphasize  that your system is quiet, energy efficient (compared to AC) and provides breezy healthful cooling fresh air that is invigorating and comfortable but stop all claims of equalizing indoor and outdoor temperature .
  AND/OR Replace EXHIBIT A with  REAL LIFE videos of an ACTUAL HOUSES showing the indoor temperature at 9 pm (when fan is turned on and windows are opened, at 11 pm , at 3 am and at 7 am

  We watched the video that you sent in Exhibit A. We were referencing the attic temperature, not the home temperature, however we understand that this may have been worded confusing, so we have deleted the video.

   I am rejecting this response because: When I called in and asked your sales rep about this video's claim - without pause he empathetically told me WITH GREAT CONVICTION that the Quite cool system would bring the inside THE HOUSE temperature EQUAL to the outside temperature within one hour . The unflinching quickness and certainty with which he told me that the Quite cool system would bring the inside temperature equal to the outside temperature made it clear that HE HAD BEEN TRAINED TO SAY THAT .

  It was only after getting this reassurance that I bought the product. 

  Any way it makes no sense that the hot air being blown into the attic from the warmer house below  would be cooler than the warner air in the house .The temperature in the attic will be as warm as the 4195 CFM of air that is being blown into it from the warmer house' bwlow.This can not bring the temperature in te attic equal with the 8F cooler air outside 

  It is currently 1:17 am here . The outside temperature is 67F .The house is 79F .The attic is 79F .(mercury thermometer) The 4700ES has been running for 3 hours .

  Therefore besides deleting the video also promise to stop training your phone reps to say that the Quite cool system would bring the inside temperature equal to the outside temperature wither attic or living space.
