This review is on behalf of my mother and her deeply disappointed and dissatisfied recent experience at this surgical office. After receiving the devastating news of her breast cancer diagnosis, I hoped for compassion and support and honestly expected better. Instead, throughout the brief experience she encountered a staff that was cold and indifferent. There was a clear lack of empathy and understanding for her situation, making an already difficult time even more stressful. My mother was referred to this sad excuse for a health establishment by her primary care provider after a crucial emergency room visit that identified rapid and aggressive breast cancer. Her primary care provider advised surgery right away along with oncology. She had obtained a STAT MRI and brought the report to this office to review and attempt to get a sooner appointment for consultation, sooner than what they scheduled her for which was about a month away. When she brought the report to the office she was confronted with condescending attitude and snicker from the front office. They didnt even give her the respect or decency to take her into at least a private office to discuss the matter, she discussed the whole thing in a full waiting room, whatever happened to HIPAA. Now we knew the report was written wrong by the radiologist, we are very literate and can read English perfectly fine. We were advised by imaging facility that only a provider can identify and request addendum for the report. No providers at this office would do such thing as thats too much extra work, instead she was met with rudeness and they insisted she obtain a mammogram. Now if youre familiar with the procedure it can be quite uncomfortable for someone not going through breast cancer. Imagine what my mother would experience in her current nature where her right breast is constantly oozing yellowish fluids and ****** nearly eaten away by the cancer.

I concur with the other reviewer. The initial person I spoke with in billing seemed to only care about money. My father was taken to the ER and instead of billing his insurance they billed me directly. When I asked about the process, they said that when their physician saw my father there was no insurance information on the face sheet. When I told them that I provided that information to both the parademic in the ambulance and the hospital, the person said "it doesn't matter, just give me the insurance number now." Before I did that, I asked why they couldn't get that info from the hospital, she not only ignored my question but proceded to say it doesn't matter and then hung up on me by transfering me to her supervisor Natalie. When I asked her the same question about process, Natalie then explained to me that they have 14 physicians and they don't have the staff and time to call the hospital to get the insurance information so they have a regular practice of billing patients instead and expect them to call. Most people do not like getting large bills in the mail when insurance is supposed to cover it; especially when their loved one is in critical care. This business doesn't seem to care about anything but money sadly to say. I asked for an apology from that employee that ignored me and was refused. It is unfortunate that we patients are unable to choose the doctors that we see; so I hope that hospital administrators will read this review before they make the decision to contract out to this organization.
