    I had taken other items suitcases for repair to Levine, he did a great job and I was happy. Recently I Called and asked if he could get the smell out of my suitcase, he said sure, brought it in, p[aid upfront $100.00, 3 weeks later I called and asked about the bag and he said it was ready he was going to call me. I live an hour away and was already 30 minutes away, had a doctor appointment, ran overtime. I tried to call him to tell him I would be there by 530, and the answering machine answered and said I could not leave a message, I was vert upset not being able to reach him, I ranted and cursed not realizing that he was actually on the phone and heard all my cussing about busting my but to get there to pick up suitcase and why wasnt he answering the phone? He then texted me back that he blocked me and to never come to his store again. My suitcase was a soft 36" Geofrey Beene red./black I texted him back that I was sorry about the cursing and misunderstanding, I only wanted to let him know I was racing to get to him before he closed. The suitcase was worth over $250. I could not drive back to him today, and cannot find out what happened to my suitcase. What should I do?

    Sadly, Champion Han is no more. While we knew we would pay a premium, it was always worth it for the quality and care of workmanship offered. Proprietorship has been replaced by the most belligerently and rude, character I have ever encountered in a retail establishment, and that is saying something in 2022! His name is L*****. Avoid him if you can.
    I brought in my relatively new Staud handbag because the strap connection had disengaged. I left the bag with a nice man who told me Levine was the new owner and would call before doing the work. L***** called and told me the leather hook needed to be stitched in place, and the other side should be reinforced as well, but the stitching would show on the outside of the bag. I asked if he was certain that would fix the problem; he guaranteed it would, so I agreed. I subsequently picked-up the bag and paid.
    The very first time I went to use the bag, the strap popped right back off. I switched handbags and took it back to the shop when running errands in that area. I was not upset; these things happen... I anticipated a 'so sorry, let me fix this." I was greeted by 2 lovely young people who said, "so sorry, Levine is our father and we are sure he will fix it, and he would call me." It was all smiles and friendly when I left.
    Well! I just had a 10 minute outrageous call with L*****. Belligerence, gaslighting, nauseatingly misogynistic personal attacks... every sort of nonsense about "not my problem" ... "you can get a flat tire on a new tire" (seriously) ... "what did you even pay, like $20? ... you must be crazy to get upset about $20"--In case this needs to be said, none of that was accurate, or relevant.
    He was the supposed leather expert. He assured me his recommendation would fix the issue. It did not. His response was not to reassess and make a different recommendation; it was to attack. And that is outrageous.
