    The business failed to disclose that they have nightly break ins and that the property was not secured like advertised. Our RV was broken into due to a hole in the fence and the manager was aware of the hole and did not disclose it to tenants. The manager stated when we signed our contract that he lived on the property and regularly checks the property at night and can hear everything. The night we were broken into he changed his story and said he can’t hear anything in his apartment and never checks the property at night. When I asked for the insurance info for a claim, the property has refused and stated they have no insurance. Another thing that was not disclosed.

      I wanted to let you know that I have CCd my Regional Director **** ******** In regards to the complaint we received from **** ******

    We are here to provide safe and secure storage space and RV parking for anyone who needs it. We do our best to prevent any type of Vandalism or Break ins at our

    Facility. For any parking space tenant we require per lease registration and insurance as it says to make sure everything being stored is covered/protected by ones insurance.

    Good Afternoon,

     

                    Whenever we have Vandalism/Break Ins we immediately have Maintenance staff fix the issues

         right away to try and prevent any further problems. Unfortunately, break-ins and vandalism can happen, but we do try.

    and provide a safe space for things like this not to happen. We are also getting Blue Eye Security installed at our facility

    and they will be monitoring our cameras from 6am to 10pm and they call the cops with any activity. Attached are photos of

    the fixes to said photos that were provided for the complaint. Please if you have any further questions or anything.

     I am rejecting this response because:

    The broken down fences were brought to the managers attention months before we were broken into and not fixed while we had our rv there but they still took our money. They also refused to give any video footage of the Break in to myself or the police officer. Their sad attempt at getting a monitor system now and fixing fences because I have done a BBB complaint and threatened a lawsuit doesn’t take away their responsibility to pay for our deductible since we were told they monitored footage, and never had break ins and we were lied too. They also never informed people of the potential for break ins or the fact that break ins were occurring right then at that time. The only resolution is my $500 paid deductible, period. You were negligent in your business practices and negligent in keeping your contract to keep my belongings safe.
