    I made a contract with Rancho El Refueigo for $7000 (cash) which included the ranch and decoration. I wasn't happy with the decor so the owner offered and agreed to refund me back $2000. He gave me a check for the amount of $2000 and told me to wait 6 weeks to cash it because of his accounting. When I went to cash the check they told me that the account didn't have funds. I went 3 times to the bank and was always told the same thing. I called him about this issue and it was very hard to get a hold of him. When he decided to answer me he mentioned that he had closed the account he didn't have the courtesy to tell me that he closed the account. Then he told me to go on 12/16/24 to the ranch and that he would have my money there. When I went he never showed up, so I messaged him that I was there waiting. I also messaged him that I did not want to be going in circles about this and that I was already tired of his lies this was around 10 am he answered at 1:00 pm with a voice message saying he had an emergency and he was leaving for the airport. In the message, he says he would leave my money with one of his workers. He told me to go on 12/27/24 because he would be back and he was not there. I called 3 times and messaged him to please stop with this nonsense, I didn't want to be going back & forth. I had made this contract in good faith with him. He later replied via voice message saying that he had problems and that I was aggravating him and to stop bothering him. That he would cancel the contract and not call him again and he would call me. On Dec.28 he called me and told me to go to the Ranch on 01/02/25 to give me the money I asked him if he was going to give me the $7000 he said however you want. Since he had me go various times and he would never show up I just didn't go anymore. I'm afraid he won't show up to open the ranch for the event and I will lose more money with the other persons I have contracts with (Food, Music Band, waiters, decorations,DJ,help please

    We have not received our security deposit back despite numerous reminders and attempts to contact the venue. The signed agreement stated within two weeks of the event which was on 10/19/2024 and still has been left unresolved as of today 01/02/2025.
