    I hired ******* from The Tax Place to file my taxes. Every complaint I make is concerning *******, not her amazing employee *******I submitted my tax info on March 20, 2023 and ******* did not get back to me via email until April 12. Not only did ******* wait until the last possible day to file my taxes, but she also did the same thing to my partner and to my roommate. She also did not mention to me that she had to file a federal filing extension for me so I was panicking as the tax pay date was approaching. Because she took so long to get back to us, we had only a few days to come up with the tax money that we owed. Horrible service from *******, we were completely blindsided.Also, the federal tax amount that she told me to pay was incorrect! Now Im receiving letters from the *** saying that I still owe federal taxes when she assured me that I was paid in full and had nothing else to pay.I let her know a week ago from today (June 2) that this letter came in and its absolutely unacceptable. Her job is to tell me the correct amount in taxes to pay, and she did not even do that. I requested a full refund for her services, since she did nothing correctly. She has decided to completely ignore me, hence this BBB complaint. Im out so much money now because of her and she needs to be reported somehow for incompetence/ simply not doing her job correctly. I am beyond upset and hoping BBB can do anything to help me.
