      Let me start by saying that I am shaken. Disappointed, dismayed, furious, and so angry. I am a 68 year old man on a limited income. I saved for months to buy my wife a new wedding ring. I kept seeing The Diamond Exchange commercials on TV and they appeared to be legit, so I decided to give them a try. I drove from my home in ***** to *******, about a 35 minute drive. I picked out a ring for my wife because I wanted to surprise her. I brought it home and presented it to her and she was so happy. It warmed my heart to see the glee and the gratitude on her smiling face. However. approximately a month after the purchase or so, one of the 3 diamonds feel out. I immediately contacted the store and they had me bring in the ring for their examination. The store manager's are not allowed to make ANY autonomous decisions at all. I was told that they have to send the ring to their corporate office to determine the issue. It was told to me through the store manager that corporate said that it was my wife's fault. They said that the ring had been exposed to chemicals. Not at all!!! But I remained civil and inquired as to the next step. They told me that they will repair the ring and replace the stone for an additional $550.00. However, they said that they would make an exception for me and only charge me $430.00 They supposedly replaced the stone and repaired the ring. The following month the ring fell apart again. This time they said that they rather not repair the ring but replace it with a different style. They offered NO money off the new ring that they want to replace my wife's ring. They want to do an entirely new purchase of a ring. They say the second ring was exposed to chemicals as well. My wife does not work and would barely wear either of the rings because she was afraid it would become damaged again. They are now in the process of sending me the damaged ring back and none of the $2000.00 already invested in the ring. NO CHEMICALS.

      I had a very disappointing experience with Goldenwest Diamond Corporation (The Jewelry Exchange). I returned a ring that didnt match the description, and I followed their return policy by sending it back within the allotted time. However, I never received my refund.I attempted to resolve the issue by choosing another item for exchange, but I never heard back from their customer service despite multiple attempts to contact them. They kept my money and ignored my requests, leaving me with no product and no resolution.Their lack of communication and failure to honor their return policy is unacceptable. I can see from their other reviews and low BBB rating that Im not the only customer who has experienced poor service. I strongly recommend avoiding this company.

      No integrity, we were charged twice for a stone that we bought. We originally chose a 1 katat stone but changed our mind and decided to get a 2 karat stone. The sakes person ***** said that she would credit the original amount back to put credit card. She gave us the price for the 2 karat stone which we agreed to pay. When we got our statement we saw that the original stone was never credited to our account. When called she claims that she never said that. Now we have a double charge and they refuse to give our money back. We are not rich my husband is on a fixed income and this is a hardship. This is not fair. I would have never let my husband put that amount on his card. These people don't care about the consumer it's all the money. Now when I look at this ring I get infuriated that they took advantage of us. It's tough being a senior people are always trying to take advantage of seniors.

      I contacted The Jewelry Exchange and spoke to ***** and informed her that I lost my diamond out of my wedding ring. She informed me that I had coverage through them of a credit of seven hundred and something dollars. She asked me how was I paying I stated through my insurance company and I needed a receipt of how much theyre charging me to replace my diamond without the credit it would be ********. ***** let me know that my ring arrived in ********** from District Hgts, ** then changed the story and said I dont have a credit she misunderstood me and said she thought I had the diamond and needed it put back into the ring. ***** stated that they dont do partial karats so most likely it would be 2 karats instead of 1.80 karats the original size then she stated something different my karat will be decreasing to 1.62 from 1.80. Purchasing a ring with this company you get your jewelry cleaned and checked for lifetime but Im no longer able to do that because the *********** location closed down which is wear I originally purchased our wedding ring from. Never once did ***** tell me it was a charge to ship my ring back until the repairs was completed and it was time to pay for my rings and have the rings shipped back to me.

      The jewelry store is a is not a good store. I purchased a 4ct tennis bracelet on December 13 and contacted them 2 days later to find out about my order. They told me it was being shipped that day and told me it would arrive in 2 days. Did not receive it, so I contacted them and was told it was being shipped that day and I would receive it before Christmas. I called them back 3 days to tell them I did not receive it. He said I would not receive it before Christmas. He said If I changed it to a 4.5 ct he would over night it to me. I agreed to the more expensive bracelet. When I received it the next day they had charged me $55 for over night delivery. Even though they lied to me twice the had the nerve to charge me the shipping. I would not recommend this company nor would I ever use this business again. Beware they only post the 5 star reviews. You can get the rest of the reviews by by using there name reviews and you will get all of them.

      Great selection of jewelry. Excellent customer service. I really like how they are priced really low compared to other retailers. Theyre also very knowledgeable when it comes to jewelry and not just trying to sell what they have on hand. They ordered the custom stone/ring I wanted

      Need a way to give zero stars or even negative stars.What a bunch of scammers these people are. I was looking at a necklace, which was very expensive, and of course they were talking it up. I decided to make the purchase by credit card, believing I would be protected and backed by the card company. I took the necklace home to my wife and she didn't like the way it fit, it was too short for a pendant style- which are typically 18" and this was 16". We were also concerned that there was no paperwork to authenticate the gems. We decided it needed to be returned. I went back two days later to return the item. Went in with my receipt and all the orig packaging, It was at that point that they decided to tell me that there were no refunds and I could only have a store credit. THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN STATED BEFORE THEY TOOK MY CREDIT CARD. I have been fighting with them and my card company ever since. They told my credit card company that I had the item- I don't. They said it was custom made and implied that I had it commissioned, again, not the case. They have tried numerous times to get me to spend more money to lengthen it. They are refusing me a refund. Why would i want a store credit to do business with this company? They are truly horrible!!!

      **************** is horrible! Promise you a ship date that never comes to pass. Sent countless e -mails never get a reply. Finally after leaving 4 voice mail messages the called back. Lots of excuses on why my order hadn't arrived. Eventually did get it AFTER I told them that I was going to contact my cc company for a refund.I won't purchase from them again.
