    We are attempting to order a larger trash can so we can get rid of extra trash, in order to clear the land of fire hazard waste. Unfortunately, Lake County Waste Solutions, Inc. WILL NO PICK UP THE PHONE so we can order a larger can. We've been on hold more than three times for over 10 mintues, at which point in time THEY disconnect the call. THEY WILL NOT ANSWER E-MAILS. THEY WILL NOT FOLLOW THROUGH ON THEIR OWN WEBSITE INQUIRIES. They increased our trash cost by over 25% but appear to have fired all of their customer service agents and while they are very good at sending bills, THEY WILL NOT ACTUALLY DO BUSINESS WITH THEIR CUSTOMERS.

    Can you please get someone in this company to actually do the business they claim to provide by allowing their customers to contact them and place an order. We need to remove this waste to keep our property fire safe and this company will not allow ANY of their customers to actually do this.

    While reviewing my recent bills from this business, I noticed that we were charged a contamination fee for services rendered in the month of June, 2023. We live on a narrow cul de sac. In order for the garbage truck to service our property we have to place our garbage containers in the vacant lot next door. That's the only way the truck can sucessfully service our residence and successfully turn around to exit. Unfortunately, the vacant lot is used as a shortcut for pedestrian foot traffic betwwen Sherwood Ct (where we live), and Foothill Drive the next street over.I suspect that the contaminated garbage that Lake Waste is charging us the extra fee for was placed in the container by some random pedestrian. When I called Lake Waste last week to contest the extra charge, I was told that it was too late to do so. They said that their driver took pictures of the offending contaminated waste and that they would email me the pictures so that I can see for myself. They never sent the pictures. I have been a customer of Lake Wase for over 15 years and a good one at that. I resent the indifferent and callous treatment I received over the phone as well as their failure to provide me with the pictures to justify their contamination fee. At this point, I still want to view the pictures as well as have the contamination fee refunded back to me.

    I have just received my bill and theres a $100 contamination fee added. I have tried for weeks to contact the company to get answers, and finally been told its because there were paper plates and napkins in the recycle bin. I have never received any notification that these items are not allowed, and I have kept the last two publications that were sent out. I feel if they are going to make changes to their policies they must inform the consumers before adding ridiculous fees! I also feel they are targeting seniors since they know we cant physically haul our trash to the dump. In essence they are committing elder abuse! Being on a fixed income paying this takes away from being able to afford my husbands heart medications. To be noted they could not provide me with any proof that said contamination even occurred!
