BEWARE - DONT use their services. We recently booked a full container load with them to ship our stuff from ** to *****. Paid heavily. After reaching *****, they dumped the entire shipment in our house and went away WITHOUT unpacking and assembling saying it was never included? And their rationale is they expect the customers to know it? And now they want more money to do it leaving our house look like a DUMPYARD. Usha and Sunil are so non empathetic to this situation with old parents at home that it makes me worried about the kind of businesses we have these days. Seriously, save yourself.

    Dear BBB,

Please see attached the Quote signed by the customer which stated all the Inclusions & Exclusions which are very clearly explained. We are wondering why is customer upset with our service as he is the one to opt for the services he wanted to avail. Sometimes customers after reaching the destination  want to opt for the optional services which we can provide but they have to pay additional cost for it which is straight forward.

In fact in ***** when our team was in touch with him, below was responded to him by our sales Rep. ********** ****  who had taken care of the customers enquiry & move.

Pls check the signed contract once again & you will see, unpacking/assembly etc. are under the 'Exclusions' with rates.
If you had asked us to add those charges in the quote or in the final invoice, we would have done so and instructed our India team accordingly.
Even now if you want the unpacking/assembly to be done, pls check with Sunil in our ***** office, the charges for these services and pay our ***** office directly.

    Regards
    Usha

Please let us know if you need any more details from our side.

    Thanks/regards,

I shipped a container with personal items to ********** ***** via sky2c they did multiple mistakes who coast me a lot to release the container at ********** port First the spelling of my name which take time to fix it and made me pay and delayed the release of the container and pay fee The second mistake was huge they wrote in the bill of loading the weight is ***** kg which is completely wrong it was ***** pound that make the authority suspect and red flag my container and it takes time to empty weight load the container before releasing it the whole process took 5 months and it should be only 2 months as per the discussion with the sky2c all those mistakes make me pay penalties 2000$ I contacted them and went to their office and they ignore me and didnt take initiative to compensate me for any of their mistakes although they agreed to begin with to ship it at 3600$ and end up paying almost 7000$ all documents are available to proof all incidents happen

    Hello ***************,

First of all, please accept my sincerest apologies for the delay of responding the complaint, reason is we had to investigate the issue since the transaction has been a year (2021).

The container had already arrived on June 26, 2021.  Sky2C had sent a draft of the Master **** of Lading (***) to the Customer for review more than three weeks before the shipment arrived at the port of destination. The Customer had no comment on the draft *** regarding Customer Name or Gross Weight. The balance of payment is due from Customer three weeks before the delivery of the container to port of destination. The shipping line will not release/send the *** to the Customer until payment in full is received from Customer.  ********************** sent five emails to Customer between June 3rd, 2021, and June 22nd, 2021, asking for payment of balance due; all of which went unanswered by Customer.  Customer came to ********************** office on July 2, 2021 and paid the balance due (which was due on June 5, 2021). Once the Customer paid the overdue charges in full, the Shipping Line released/sent Customer the formal *** on July 6. 2021. The Customer fee to correct Customer name on *** was $50. Customer had no comment on the *** until Thursday July 29, 2021, more than three weeks after receipt of *** at which time Customer requested a correction to her name. The *** was updated and shared with her on Monday August 2, 2021.

As for the weight on the bill of lading: Again, the additional costs the Customer incurred to get the shipment released from Customs at the port of destination all stem from Customers delay in paying the balance due on shipment until six days after the shipment arrived at the port of destination rather than when it was due three weeks before, despite repeated reminders to Customer that payment was due/overdue. Also, the Customer had no comment on the draft *** that Customer had for three weeks before the shipment arrived at Port of Destination. Had the Customer paid the balance when it was due, Customer would have received the formal *** well before the shipment arrived at port of destination. Even after receipt of the formal *** from the Shipping Line, Customer waited more than three weeks to request any changes to the ***. After the shipment arrived at port of destination on June 26, 2021, the Customer begins accruing storage and other Customs charges which continue to accrue until such charges are paid in full and the shipment is release by Customs to the Customer.

Thank you and greatly appreciate your understanding.

I am rejecting this response because:when the shipment arrived with the wrong name the authorities refuse to release it and than they change the name and I paid the fee and once I want to release it they refuse because of their mistake in the weight they wrote its ***** kg which is way heavier than normal they red flag my container and by the time they empty the container and weight everything inside and the empty container it was only **** kg not ***** it ***** them long time to do so and they make me pay all labor and fee to solve this problem which was not my fault the shipping company wrote the wrong weight which is more than double the weight and I end up paying to release it I have all documents to prove what I am saying thanks

    Sincerely,
