********************* with ******* Services called me from an IA number on 12/19 about these College ACT Prep CDs that were customizable to her based on her scores and we could get for $249.95. The amount would be refunded if returned within 30 days. My daughters laptop doesn't have CD so they said would send a flash drive. Gave me the confirmation code. CD's arrived on 12/21 but my daughter did not tell me. I asked her about it a couple weeks later and started calling ************ and get a recording hours are **** and leave name/number with number twice. I've called 3 times and sent the CD's back on Monday and filed a dispute with my credit card today.Initial Complaint

Received a call from **** at College ************** about my student requesting testing study materials and he said they cannot mail it out without speaking to a parent. He had our mailing address and everything and I was in a hurry, so like a dummy a gave him my CC number. He said if the CDs were not return within 30 days, then my card would be charged - however, the $249.95 is already pending on my card. I tried to call the number he gave me and no one answers and the caller ID showed he called from ***** Homes LLC. (I should have known better). After checking w/my student and searching online, I realized this is scam and it matches what others are saying except the amounts keep going up. It shows as Student Achievement from ****** ** on my CC statement as pending. I called me card and they can't do anything about the card until it post, so I have to keep an eye on it. They did cancel the card number and issue me a new one so that hopefully I won't have anymore issues with these SCAMMERS!!! Why is nothing being done about them if everyone is reporting them?Initial Complaint

I filed a complaint against this company a year ago. It is a scam and are still in business. They have been deducting 79.95 from my cc twice a month for 12 months. I never signed up for the fake services they claim to offer students. We have a very active credit card that is used for a lot of business expenses, so the charge was not caught until now. I have called this company and left several messages. I finally spoke to a person on Wednesday, April 5, 2023. at 6:07pm eastern time. He claimed I received tutoring and online services. My email was never given to this company and no information on websites were received. This company owes us a total or 1,918.80 beginning with charges on March 18, 2022. The man I spoke with claims I will be reimbursed. I highly doubt that considering all the complaints I have read. Please put this company out of business. Reoccurring monthly charges of $79.95 from 3/2022 to 3/2023 ($959.40) have been charged to my account after the scam of indirectly signing up for a service I had no idea we had done. I had to dispute this with my ******* *** credit card. Cleverly this scamming company issues monthly charges that match the exact same amount that a legitimate college application company charges to apply for admission to universities. Therefore it is difficult to detect this as fraudulent. I'm very embarrassed to have been taken advantage of but I hope this claim helps others by providing validation College Scores is a scam.Initial Complaint

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM!! On 10/24/22 we received a call from a lady with a Council Bluffs, IA number (but company is out of Upland, CA) that our daughter who is a junior in High school signed up for these CD’s. She was at school at the time so we couldn’t ask her but order them for her to study for her ACT. We charged $220.87 right away but didn’t receive them until 11/10/22. We were told if we returned them within the 30 days we would get our money back. I returned them on 12/2/22 and they signed for them on 12/6/22. On 2/28/23 I reached out to them stating I hadn’t received my refund and they told me ok that they just submitted and it should take 10-14 days. On 3/12/23 I received the box back I sent on 12/3 with a return to sender. I went to the post office they gave me the shipping info stating they signed and picked the box up on 12/6/22 and they did a return to sender on 3/2/23 2 days after I called them about my refund. I called on 3/22/23 left message and they returned my call with a no caller ID and they told me they weren’t refunding because I was outside of my 30 days. He said that order was placed on 10/24 and shipped 2 day so we received them on 10/26. I told him he was wrong we received them on 11/10/22 so I had until 12/10 to get them back and I told him I had 4 days left after they signed for it. Will (the guy who called me) told me to hold on and after 10+ mins they hung up on me.Initial Complaint

As many of the other complaints have stated, we received communication from this entity after our son went through SAT discussions and prep at his High School. They offered the prep package for the deposit of $219.99, which would be refunded after the product was returned. I should have known something was off when they shipped two CD ROMs. Upon sending the materials back, they refused the package after telling us on the phone that they had received it. We will continue to try and contact the company for a refund, but I highly doubt they will process such a thing.Initial Complaint

I signed my son up for college test prep materials. I was told upon return of those materials that my deposit would be refunded. I was NOT told I would be having $79.95 a month taken out of my account.
