On 5/20/24 I took my car to good guys tires and auto as my engine light was on. I have an extended warranty ******** and notified good guys of this. Good guys indicated one of the oxygen sensors needed to be replaced. They completed the repair and also repaired an oil level sensor. After paying the deductible of $450 and the warranty company paid their part, a few days later my engine light came on again. I took my vehicle back to good guys and they said I needed to take it to the dealer that they could not fix it. I asked for a refund of my deductible because they did not fix the problem (engine light still on) and they would not give me a refund. I took my car to Land Rover and they stated the incorrect oxygen sensor was changed and the oxygen sensors were still covered under the manufacturers warranty. I should not have been charged anything. Good guys should have called Land Rover to verify the repairs (oxygen sensors) were not covered under manufacturers warranty. Good guys also charged for replacing 2 oxygen sensors and Land Rover indicated only one was changed. Also my oil level sensor has never worked even though good guys stated they fixed it. I really feel as though I was taken advantage of as well as the warranty company, max care. We paid for service that should have been covered for free under the manufactures warranty and for services that were not done correctly. It would be great if the warranty company and myself could get our money back. I also do not want this to happen to anyone else. Thank you.
