I needed a pair of reading glasses, so I chose this eye doctor through my ******** list of optometrists, and got an eye exam on 8/9/24. After the exam, the Doctor recommended and pushed me to get a pair of progressive lens glasses, even though I had my own driving glasses. I payed a deposit of $265 that day and then they said I could pay the rest, which was another $265 when I was to pick up my glasses on 9/12/24. And my frames were covered by my insurance at that time. And then, after a month I received the glasses, on 9/12/24 and they said, to try it for a month to get used to it. Then, I tried the glasses for a week, but I really was uncomfortable reading through the small lenses, the frame was heavy and giving me headaches, and had impaired vision using them to drive. So, I went back to the office to tell them I was having trouble and wanted to return them to get a single pair of reading glasses. However, the Doctor started to push me to keep the lenses but, said she would give me a lighter frame, which I had to pay $275 more out of pocket for. I felt like I was on the spot, and since I dont have much money, I said yes, payed a deposit that day, and would pay the rest in two different payments, over a 2 month period with autopay. After, the 2 months passed, I picked up my my glasses on 12/6/24. And after a few days of using my new glasses again, I still had trouble reading with them, and could see wavy lines when I read. So, I went back to return the glasses on 12/10/24 and because they kept pushing me to keep them, I became very confused and frustrated and asked for a refund, which they denied. And they said they wont give me a refund because I tried 2 different frames, and that I have to come back for another appointment to talk to them and see what is going on with my glasses. But at this point, I feel like its no use and I didnt want to discuss to them any further or have business with them.
