If you are in need of help to evict someone and this issue has created you headaches and need professional help you can trust to help you alleviate the problem, DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN DENNIS BLOCK!!!!! He and his firm will NOT help you, in fact, they will be your biggest NIGHTMARE! All they do is take your money, their nonsense ridiculous invoices keep coming even when you are at a still! When you call to question them they try to blackmail you! They switch attorneys on you, no one seems to know what is going on, not the attorney showing up to court or no one in his office, THEY ARE A COMPLETE MESS!!!!! They are the ones responsible for a few of the continuances on my bill, depending on the type of eviction, in my case they charge for every appearance and they dont care if they make mistakes and your case has to continue, THEY WILL STILL CHARGE! One of their attorneys did not even show up to court, the judge sanction the firm and they still billed me! They charge for every breath you take, they do not care if the bill is their fault, they will use the balance to blackmail you that if you do not pay it they will not follow the court order/judgment granted to notify the sheriff of the lock out. They are double charging me on a few items,I have requested a copy of the file in a few occasions and I still do not have it. I will not surrender to their blackmailing illegal behavior, I am preparing to sue them if necessary. If I have to take this unfair, illegal and dirty behavior to court including the ***************************, I will!!!!

We have rented a single family home from a corporation for 31 years - never once failing to pay rent. Every time I asked for a repair they would raise my rent. Several years ago I was threatened that if I called the office again they would have me out of my house so fast I wouldn't know what hit me. Because of that we tried to take care of most of the repairs ourselves. In 2021, during the Covid-19 pandemic, the daughter (who had been the rental agent for her ******** ************ ***** husband, became the new owners under their own corporation. They immediately raised the rent & the deposit amount. In 2022, still during the pandemic restrictions, they raised the rent again & this time I asked for badly needed repairs. They agreed to the repairs but also told me that I would be receiving an official notice to vacate sometime after the first of the year, claiming that wanted to give it to their young real estate agent daughter. We are low income seniors. In February 2023, we received our notice to vacate - the reason was changed to the ***** Act. They offered no relocation assistance & neglected to file any of the required ***** Act paperwork with the **************. I asked in writing for a one year extension (based on our ages) & relocation assistance.I received a phone call asking if I would accept a "cash for Keys' agreement to be out by April 30, 2023 - & for what amount. I sent my response in writing & never heard from them again. As we still had no place to go, in late April I mailed our May rent check, which was accepted. May 4, 2023 a process server came to my door with a document stating that the notice to vacate was now **************** were raising the rent by 136% beginning in September 2023. As of this writing - we have still not received any relocation **************** landlords have engaged the services of "famed" eviction attorney Dennis Block - who assures them that they have committed no violations & that they owe us absolutely nothing.

This is not a customer review. This is not my client. My client is his landlord which was very happy and appreciative of my service. A judge ruled in favor of my client after a fair trial. This review should be taken down as this person is not a client of my legal firm.

Unauthorize charges onto credit card. *********** collected money without doing anything. No communication whatsoever with client. Stay away from this buisness. Absolutely no customer service, never answer calls this is how they get away with so no solutions for the customer. We wonder how many people he has done this to. This one takes your money and pretends he's done something for you.

This client started an eviction case on Oct. 17, 2022. She was immediately emailed the documents that we prepared. Her tenant was immediately served on Oct. 22, 2022. The tenant must have paid her as she never signed documents so that we could proceed with the lawsuit. We kept emailing her and no response. We gave her a refund of $890 on March 2, 2023, only charging for work to date. She also filed a dispute with the credit card company but they agreed with this firm. As such, she is now attempting to disparage my firm. This client wanted to get services for free.

This client hired our firm to perform an eviction. The initial charge was $1460. We prepared all of the paperwork and sent it to the client by email. A notice was prepared and served on the tenant by a process server. The notice was served on 10/22/2022. Thereafter, we were informed that the tenant paid. The case was cancelled and a refund in the sum of $890 was issued in accordance with our refund policy. I have no clue why the client is upset. Is she upset that my efforts got the tenant to pay the rent?
