    I purchased a GSD puppy online from Healthy GSD Puppies Home on Friday, 14 April 2023 for $600 plus another $200 for shipping. The money was sent via Zelle. I received something like a contract from the seller to verify the transaction. Things got bad from here.I was sent a shoddy looking email from ************************************ that stated that they could not go through with the shipping process because the crate needed to be electronic. This was immediately alarming because the issue supposedly came after the transaction and shipping setup and suddenly put things on hold while asking for $1000 dollars that's supposedly refundable. This is a preying tactic.I looked up info regarding this shipping company and they don't seem to exist. I asked the seller at Healthy GSD Puppies Home about it and they swore that their company is legit. I asked them if they could try a well known pet shipping company and they stated that I would have to pay another $200 to change. Again, this set off alarms as I've already paid this fee.When I asked for a refund ALL communications from both contacts ceased. I pulled up BBB info a second time and realized that I overlooked the warnings because of the different name that the shipping company is using but the same red flags and reports apply. I don't even want the dog anymore because I'm worried she doesn't even exist. If so, we'd love to have her, otherwise I just want an $800 refund. During small talk with the seller via text, they know I have 5 kids and that my wife and I are both military veterans. I have learned that this makes ** especially vulnerable to these scams. I would like my money returned and for the word to get out about these people and their scams.
