Hi there. I am a professional chef working and living in ***********, **. I'm writing to file a complaint against Matthew Kenney ********* "*********************" (based here in ***********), where I am currently enrolled as a student in their popular Foundations course for vegan chefs.I enrolled in this course and spent $273 on the self-guided program, where I was promised not only virtual guidance and feedback from the Matthew Kenney team of chefs, but a certification upon completion. Since enrollment, the program has shut down, with no warning or communication whatsoever. I can't access my chef instructor via the program's platform, ALL of their emails bounced back to me, and there seems to be no way to receive the certification I paid for and have worked so hard toward this past year. I've been trying to research the situation and have made several attempts to contact someone at the Matthew Kenney Academy, but his entire company empire appears to have shut down with no notice / communication to paying customers. Ultimately, I'd like to be reimbursed for my enrollment fee, as I cannot complete the course or receive the promised certification. Details of my transaction:- 12/31/22 - $273 - The business (Matthew Kenney Academy : *********************) was committed to providing me with virtual chef instruction, feedback on my weekly assignments, a community of peers to "do the course with" (virtually), and most importantly a certification upon completion of the course.- The nature of my dispute is that the business went completely dark and I cannot complete the educational program I signed up for, nor receive the promised certification which I spent a LOT of money on (ingredients and HOURS of my time).- I've reached out to the business no fewer than ten times; emailing every email address I could get my hands on; reaching out to my chef instructor, Chef ***, contacting the Matthew Kenney Academy to try to reach someone at the top. I have received *zero* responses from the business. - The business did not provide a tracking / order / account number, but I have all documented receipts via email / my personal bank account that I can share as additional information / proof. I have uploaded several documents to this file.
