    On 06/21/2024 my girlfriend, myself and our 4 friends booked 1 night at the PodShare ****** which is a hostel. My girlfriend and I paid $92.70 for a double bed. Upon arrival we noticed a lingering rotting smell, and old discarded food that has spilled across common tables/furniture that had not been cleaned up. The receptionist attempted to give our friend a used bed that had not been changed since its last occupant, she lied and said another one of our companions messed with the sheets. Only 1 of 3 toilets had access to toilet paper. We were warned the water was not safe to use. And we all have returned from this trip with bed bugs indicating an infestation at this location. When we looked back at the reviews for this location multiple people are complaining about bug infestations and management only mocks them in response. We would like a refund from this business and to be compensated for the amount of specialized detergents we have purchased to get rid of the bugs. Most importantly I also believe this location needs a serious inspection to prevent future travelers from being put into these unsafe living conditions.

    This complaint is not for PodShare *********. That photo is not of our locations, and that name has no reservation in our system. Podshare ********* is located at ****************************************** and is an independent company with its own LLC. We have no relation to the business for which that photo and receipt is referring to. Please ask the claimant to provide the address they booked at and compare that to our address which you can see online is the I wrote above.
