      The front office seems to always be in a hurry and rushing. Just realized they made a mistake on my smog report regarding odometer reading and had its reading 50k more than it is! I then called to understand what happened and elaborated on what my current odometer is and what the error looks like. He said, "I don't really care what the odometer current reading is. Bring it in to get it fixed, and I won't charge you!!!!!!!!!"
      Update: I decided to show up at the shop to see what the context is for "I don't care about your current odometer reading" and asked to speak to a manager. The manager did show up at the window and the moment I started talking about the call above and the issue with the current odometer reading vs. what is documented on the paperwork, and abrupt behavior on the phone, and that I thought I show up to get it fixed - with a bit of a louder voice pitch - he did seem to remember the conversation. He did say we'll get it fixed - again - and re-smog "for free". I then asked to get my money back and he said he won't do that since he had his team working on the car. He then asked for the car keys and I figured "let's see what he is up to" and gave him the car keys. He had the car up next on his schedule and got it re-smogged. I then got the car keys back and walked away without even looking or following up on what he did.
      This uncivilized situation is definitely a good reason not to come back or recommend this shop. I didn't mind making an error; we all do, but what I didn't appreciate is the bad temper and not even apologizing for what they did or say. Bye bye Smogie's!
