      I went to the thrift store on Saturday 12/14 checked this item that was in the store an ice maker. I plugged it in and seemed to work on then got it home and it sounds like it is going to explode or catch on fire. I contacted them right away on Saturday and spoke to C****** and she advised to talk to R**** since he is the manager, and this is an issue she cannot handle. I called back on Monday 12/16 after waiting on hold at 9am for 10 mins before another supervisor/manager got on the phone and told me that they do not offer refund or exchange. I understand that might be the policy, but this is an issue that can cause hazard and that is not right that they cannot make an exception they receive all this stuff for free from consumers dropping off to their store and could exchange for something else. I paid 14.99 and want my money back with the receipt I currently have. I will take this matter to the attorney general's office if they do not respond. Thanks for your time

      When checking out today at Mile High Thrift Store, I put my few items on the counter carefully inspecting them for damage and price. As the sale got started, the checker decided she did not like the price listed on the item and thus refused to sell it to me at the tagged price. She provided no explanation as to why and the item was properly marked not the price not inconsistent with similar items. When asked to speak with a manager, she explained none was there and her decision was final. I do not believe a store should be able to entice you in to their store and then attempt to change prices real time.
