      Company require full pre-payment ($475) in advance. Waited 4 weeks for appt. Was sent multiple emails and texts reminding me of the $60 penalty for “late cancellation”. They cancelled on us with <4 hrs notice, claiming “illness” and refused to pay us a $60 late cancellation fee. Should they not be held to the same standard? After all, we made significant scheduling arrangements and sacrifices to make our appt. work with the only date they had available. Also, they made a commitment to us as consumers, who pre-paid them almost $500, then they didn’t offer us any type of verbal or monetary compensation. Not only that, the office manager/owner Renee was rude, defensive, and dismissive. She hung up on me and never once actually apologized. Instead, she said, “so you want your daughter in the car with a sick person” when I questioned the late cancellation. Of course I don’t want my kid exposed, but I do think having waited so long and being locked in and unable to cancel made my choices very limited. I think a $60 late cancellation fee should go both ways. I have never been treated this poorly by a company that offers a service. And, I have a lot of friends whose kids are 15.5 and in need of this service. I have told them all how awful my experience was. This business owner made me cry and she made my kid cry. Being apologetic, offering a replacement driver, offering some monetary credit all would have gone a long way. Instead, it was a “too bad, so sad” attitude and “we’re done” before hanging up on me. Terrible.
